lvl 38 and 39. I dont get it

I am stuck. I went kinda straightforward the whole time without looking for any items or such. and I am currently in a room with mines on the right side and a too high cliff to normal jump up on the left side. I used a savepoint in the middle and got stuck.

do the questions you answered in the beginning dictate the conversations? the main character fits to what i answered at least

the game trapped me inside the third boss-room. (the one who spawns soldiers and got red and blue dudes. they locked the door when I came in and will not open it now....

I though this game was short.. until I got to the free play section where I realized it was about the perfect length
