So... dumb q. Do i still need stone mines if i'm using stone teleporters now? (same with tree plantations/woodcutting center)

Yes, you do! There's an upgrade for rock teleporters that allows their worker to mine as well, but it's still more effective to have stone mines too. For tree plantations, the woodcutting center is less needed, but it can still be more efficient.
