Either the pathfinding AI is terrible or automove keeps overriding my commands. It ruins it. Especially on the difficult levels. And why isn't attack move just a click and move shift+click? Controls are too clunky.
Best MMO game on Kong. Why all the haters? DreamWorld, Sacred Seasons, Fantasy Online, and every other MMO on this site has some kind of turn/play limit and premium Kred content. It is a common business model, but at least this game is well balanced for people who don't use tokens. I've played through most of the game on another site w/o tokens, and it is a fun, solid dungeon crawler strategy RPG. It's about time Kong added more solid games to its Kred lineup.
So well executed. The music, graphics, storyline, and gameplay are wonderfully interwoven. Don't even try playing it on mute. The last level is very hard. I wanted to see the ending, so after hundreds of deaths I finally put my laptop on power saver mode to slow things down before I went blind. 8-|

oops... sorry. I didn't know the idea had such baggage. Post deleted.
My initial impressions on the game, though, are that I like it. The turn restrictions seem okay and keep the game "casual". Considering that the admins are slowly developing content, they don't want their player base to get ahead of their development too much. You start with 50 tokens, which you should save so you can enter the "dark ruins" later on, assuming you don't plan to buy more. The "free" version of the game doesn't seem too restricted, at least not compared to other games with this model.
I laughed out load when I saw "may the REAL world be 'paceful'"... English may be the developer's second language, but it was still a funny typo. Well, as gdead said in an earlier post, spamming patrol boats against yamato works wonders. They protect your fleet perfectly by taking essentially all of the artillary fire. By the way, how do you get multiple stars on a single level? I got 3 stars on level 8, but only 1 on all the other levels.
Are there shortcut keys to change the speed of the game? If not there should be. Otherwise, this is a great game. It really captures what an RTS should be, especially on the fast setting. I made it through the missions, and I'm currently stuck on the Madness mining mode.
Finally beat hard mode. The strategy that worked for me was to build one ion cannon (in a square just off center) and immediately upgrade it. I built two more ion cannons in the corners of the top row and then built 3 bunkers on the top row so that every square on the top row had full protection. I then researched economy and focused on ion cannons until I had 4 level 2 cannons. Don't rush into research, defending your population is the best money making tactic. That means upgraded ion cannons and upgraded bunkers at first.
grrr... there is definitely something wrong with the timer. Lightnings are impossible in low quality mode. In the alternative pink level, I can look at the timer when the ball contacts the ground, and changing the quality makes a significant difference. I can't believe the clock isn't in sync with the gameplay!!! How frustrating.
I really enjoyed this game. I think the underlying concepts are great, and it could be improved or expanded in a lot of great ways. I hope there is a sequel. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add more hotkeys.
This is the worst game I've played on Kongregate. By level 8 it became an excercise in frustration. Unless the point of the game is to teach patience, it missed the mark.
