@KingdomDefender hell yeah man, Nate was a beast. Never underestimate the sort of monster that's created when a Best Buy employee no longer answers to corporate, and has also developed a taste for human flesh.
1144ft for the Hard Badge using this tactic from Radius1214:
Day 1 - Start with full fuel, the $500 wheels, $3000 transmittion, $150 engine, and buy the boost. Tilt your car back when you're running over the zombies to maintain a bit of speed. When you get to the part where there's a gap you jump that you'll usually lose speed, hit your boost. I generally get around $7500 the first day. Day 2 - Buy the big engine and the gun. Spend as much money as you can upgrading the gun. If you have any extra, buy another level of boost. On my best try, I ran into the boxes on day 2. You should get anywhere between 11 and 15k on the second day. Remember to tilt your car back slightly when running over zombies. Day 3 - Upgrade your boost to full. Upgrade your gun with whatever remains. Don't use any boost until you get to the last hill, and then use it all. You should fly way up in the air and sail into the top of the boxes and through them. Good luck!
i wish there were cutscenes for certain combos — i.e. a hoplite and a farmer on the path, you time up + space just right and it goes to a super slow motion cutscene of Hippolyta launching a javelin from a horse in mid-air, blood splattering everywhere and bones crunching beneath hooves when the horse lands. that'd be suh-weeeeet. plus it'd give my nerves/reflexes a wee break and a chance to catch up.
I took the map from the dev's site and added area-specific labels and color overlays for each section (north, northeast, center, etc). Hope it's helpful.

@KiwiLieutenant Yes it'd be nice if they could spin around and shoot but that would strategy and challenge involved in placing the units in the first place. On Day 3 you need to anticipate the runners that start coming with the hunters— save some resources for long range units and if you see a runner headed straight for your weak spot hit the repulsor.
ahhh, finally my triple-coverage flamethrower defense is complete. Time to relax. *starts wave without looking* aaaaaand triple-coverage flamethrower defense is flanked by runners and destroyed by bursters.
4/5 because it's an awesome game (and everyone wants to blast some bunnies now and again) ... but 5/5 because you explained why the baddies drop money when they die!! Y'know, cause they just looted the city! It has all become clear to me now.
The option to hover over a weapon and hit a letter on the keyboard to assign a hotkey is a very slick and well implemented option. Too bad I can never remember what hotkeys I assigned during the thick of a firefight.
@Emperor_Z ... I agree, the rating really doesn't reflect the full quality of the game. Sadly, we live in a world populated not just with Jacks and Kathryns but also with Thomases -- er, TheSphinxes -- and they get to vote on games too. That being said, Decision may be repetitive, but it is, like this title, a very well-made title brought to fruition by effort and hard work. Sometimes The Meadow is somewhere where you can just blow zombies to bits for a little while.
