hi225 you need to get your stats up. My mage has 2055 intelligence, and does about 6k damage per spell. And I'm only lvl 279. Just buy lots of str/int potions (depending on your class). You should have enough money by now.
Pim, it's not so much typos as imperfect English. To list them all here would take up a whole page or more. I'm not criticizing you, but you won't cure the language problems by the odd comment here. You need a sub-editor to go through the whole thing.
Pimgd - there are loads of typos (often grammatical) - am I right that English isn't your first language? Anyway, I don't mind them, but if you want it to be perfect English, it'll need a lot of work.
As with all rpg type games, save often. It's not the coding, it's the nature of this type of game. Go play Fallout or Oblivion - if you buy an item and die without saving, you lose your unsaved game, including the item. Is it also a problem with Bethesda's coding? No.
Fomortiis - thanks. I think there are 4 portals - 3 + the multicolored. I just went into each one, then when you beat the monster, it turns black. Do all 3 then enter the multicolored.
I'm a level 158 mage, and my best spell is only doing a max of around 650 damage. If I was a fighter, would I be doing 1000 damage by now, and so get the achievement? So, are mages underpowered?
Nooo! I just did 30 minutes of the final quest, defeated all demons etc, but got killed by the clone! Now I have to do the whole thing again? It sucks to have no save point even after you get out of hell...
I just tried this EXACTLY, and lost by the 8th wave. It doesn't work:
"level is very easy start with 1 Fighter, when you have the Money build a second Fighter. After Wave 1 build 2 Mages when you have the Money build a third Mage. So you get to level 3 - now upgrade you Fighters to Ice Fighters - next upragde to Consecrade - then you upgrade them wehn you have the Money - ev. build a 4 Mage. After Level 5 you should upgrade your Mages to Fire Mages - und uprgade your Fighter when you have the Money. That´s it lost no Live....."
This does NOT work:
"i only pave the first 2 tiles right by the enemy entrance and put 2 warriors down. i upgrade only 1 warrior for the first like 10 or 12 waves, energy-> consecrate->generalism -> tactician -> damage -> generalism -> damage -> unholy might. you wnt get unholy might til wave 14 or 15 though. by wave 13 pave some more tiles and place down heroes. and upgrade the #2 warrior to like level 7 or 8 or so too. you should win then."
So let me get this straight - I have to play the same levels again and again so I can have a chance of beating the later levels? And this starts from the 3rd map? Seriously?
