This is completely unplayable. The dots don't even almost line up with the music... if there's any lag in the processing then the dots will individually be delayed, so they don't even line up with each other... and Christ only knows which of the three possible timings (the music, when the dots should've been placed and when the dots were actually placed) you need to use to play it. One star is too many, lrn2playtest.
Lower left star on level 5 is evil... I ended up getting it mostly through luck, and was maybe one shot away from dying, I have no idea how you're supposed to do it. Still, 5/5, hanging out for a full version...
Level 8 is a bit glitchy - if you just have a blue square on a black background, without doing any of the purple stuff, it's still close enough to finish the level (I got 92% just doing that).
The dash command is annoying... it kept on happening accidentally while I was just walking around (my guess is it's just another way Flash for Linux sucks... glitching up the keyboard reading... loathe Adobe). Which was a pain, 'cause I kept on running into walls and wasting time. Also, you don't get a carryover code thing when you 100% the game (I presume that's something to plug into the sequel so that stats carry over? Having one for 100% would be nice...). Other than that, a lot of fun. 5/5.
I got the card and both of the first two badges (along with about a dozen trophies) on my first try in Survival mode (after dying a few times in Arcade mode). It's not that hard, guys.
Just finished the first set of 6! Finally, a use for my elec-eng courses at uni... though that only went down to the gate level, not the silicon... Anyways, 5/5, obligatory "needs badges".
Another bullet hell game? Seriously, what's the appeal of these things? Where's the fun in a game that can't tell the difference between "hard but rewarding" and "hard and tedious"? There's more to making a fun game than "just add more bullets"...
Day 10... last shot for the card before having to restart... Mars was there on the screen, and my fuel cuts out. Fly within spitting distance of the red planet, fly *over* a blue platform that would've won the game for me, then start falling back down...
Land by chance on a yellow platform, get enough fuel from the level 1 fuel sucker to manoeuvre myself onto a purple platform that is nearby by chance, and win.
So nearly didn't make it...
Level 11 was kinda annoying given the rather floaty controls... I died way too many times even after I figured the puzzle out (it's the only one I used the walkthrough on, just to make sure I was on the right track... I was, I just failed at the timing and the jumping). Levels 12 and 13, though, were the fun kind of hard... enough so to make it worthwhile. 5/5
Addendum: it turns out it is playable if you wait forever for all the physics to stop, and the castle to become absolutely static (say, the time it takes to post a comment on a game) before starting the launch. Then it goes smoothly, only becoming framey once the projectile hits the castle (which matters much less).
Way too complex for my computer... even on low graphics, it's extremely framey... and since you rely on timing for controls, it's unplayable. The trebuchet rotates like 20 degrees every frame, so if I click one frame it'll be far too high, click the next it'll be far too low. I made it to level 5 by chance, but that level's way too complex... the trebuchet moves maybe 1/4 of the way around, then freezes for a bit, then all of a sudden it's all the way around, my stone's fallen on the ground, and the castle hasn't budged. Unplayable.
Also, if you hit "replay" instead of "continue" by mistake on the "you win" screen, it doesn't store your progress... you *have* to beat it again to move on. Which sucks.
Man, the teammates' AI is stupid... "Guy has a Guarded buff and nothing we do can scratch him... let's all attack him!" "Teammate on low health has subversion buff... let's all heal him to death!" I thought Subversion was actually going to be useful, before it turned out that your teammates won't notice it, and will try to heal you anyways...
Idiots.
