For those below: the badges all work fine. This has been discussed endlessly throughout the comments. One last time: refresh your browser - then play a game.
Astoundingly professional game. Amazing improvement from the first - which was already stellar for a flash game. This game rivals what you could play on consoles a decade ago.
You certainly can't say its not original!
The music makes it pretty funny, too. Of course, its just a one-joke game, and once you see the joke, the game's pretty much done.
But who doesn't like lighting people on fire?
Simply outstanding effort! I had a great deal of fun reaching 50 on hardcore (hint: 3 mages/1 cleric works very well after the first several levels - its tough at first).
A solid 5/5. Ignore the ignorance in some of the other comments; if this game is a "rip-off" so are the majority of first-person shooters and RPGs. This is a basic dungeon crawl, and they all look about the same. But your combination of music, sound, weaponry, and storyline are - by flash game standards at least - all very well done. Thank you for a fine time and my first impossible badge!
Did I say 6 out of 5? After finishing it - and getting my slice of cake! - I'd give it a 7 if I could.
I have no idea what other people are talking about: in all 40 levels, I had no glitches, no bugs, no slow-downs, no lags, no problem at all.
BRILLIANT game. There is none better here.
Arguably the greatest game in Kongregate history. Currently on level 27 and having too much fun to quit. I don't even like puzzle games and this one is riveting. Fascinating. Clever and well designed. It deserves a 6 instead of a 5. 5/5 doesn't do it justice.
After finishing it, I'm upgrading to 4/5. The timer is still annoying, but frankly with a little patience its easy to beat. No walk through is necessary, although you might consider including save functions at a couple points. Its frustrating at first, but after you figure out the first parts, its relatively easy - as long as you take the hint on the safe and move the mouse far away. Clever, original, very well done by flash game standards. 4/5
This game has arguably the best graphics of any game at Kongregate ... yet it deserves no more than 2/5 because of lacking game-play and sheer frustration. Eliminate the time limit - it serves to purpose whatsoever, other than to destroy the potential fun of looking around the environment. Time it for score, but don't end the game like that. More hints and a better interface would help, too.
Great potential, good start, but it needs some actual player testing.
Great game, a very nice update on the ancient Missile Command genre - 4/5.
But like most people here, I'm plagued by connection errors. Is it the game? Kongregate? Either way, it needs to be fixed ASAP. Earning the same badge 10 times gets a little frustrating.
Interesting game, great soundtrack, excellent graphics, every immersive and playable. However, it would really benefit from some control modifications - specifically, there should be a way to modify mouse settings. For example, I prefer an inverted y-axis - so that when I lift up, the missile goes down. Hard to play without that.
Great, great game ... but I would sure appreciate it if I could save between rounds, or every five rounds or something like that. Getting to the end of hard and losing by one balloon ... that's just wrong. Give us reload! 5/5
I pretty much agree with all the other comments .... a potentially good game, but it seems like once you designed some good graphics, you quit putting thought or effort into it. It makes no sense that my warrior (who is holding a sword) just got pwned cuz he couldn't, you know, swing his sword - for like 15 turns. Fix that, make the game make a little sense ... and put some work into adding to the graphics. How about different types of sword swings? Blocks and dodges? Do that, and it'll be a good game.
As you can clearly see from many of the comments - this practice of offering a partial demo to sell your game is not very appealing. It's a good game - but frankly I'm so annoyed at your sales tactics that I'd never go buy it. Next time, consider offering a FULL game ... and then sell the sequel.
One of the coolest games on Kongregate. I just upgraded to 5/5. It takes a while to get the hang of it - and you might consider improving the instructions a bit, to give some hints on how to build speed and height.
But once you figure it out, it's awesome. Creative, original, great graphics, great sound. One of the best.
I finally - finally! - finished this game and got the badge.
The commenters are right that there needs to be better balance between the levels, but all in all it was a great deal of fun, and certainly challenging at the end.
Great game!
