Balance: to give you an idea of the magnitude of imbalance: I finished setup in level 7 after wave 11. then I walked away - perfect win. done with 4x machinegun (3 upgrades) plus 4x range assistance.
could you make it so that a mouse-over for an assisting tower highlights the one it affects? And also: check if the assistance towers register right - I believe that upgrading their range sometimes wont give you the bonuses for towers they reach only AFTER the upgrade.
With current balance: place 3 machineguns, upgrade a little and after half of the waves: go and make some coffee.
Improvement potential: enemies that are immune to certain towers (tanks to machineguns, fliers to whatever etc)
Improvement request: Please add some form of rank system - especially a counter of how many times someone quit before the end of the game. Maybe make it so that the games/quit ratio can be a reason for automatically decline a player from your game.

BUG: savegames are gone after closing the browser.
I get the "continue" option in normal mode as intended after an autosave when I go back to the Main Menu. When I close the browser an come back later I only get the start new episode options. Sucks bad tbh...
make arrows weaker, units stronger make unit UPGRADES stronger and make enemies get stronger from lvl to lvl, so as to further increase unit usefulness over arrows. Maybe reduce the mana amount gained when killing with an arrow (to zero?)
It's so imbalanced it's not even funny.
The glitch where arrows go on auto-fire when you click outside the game should become a feature: make an auto-fire button for all arrows.
All fine. A minor bug-report in return: The politician level produces a -500 for mission failure, even when completed right away on first go with no casualties except the target. I shot straight through the glass right away. Bug or did I miss something?

Maybe you could make it so that different size circles have different growth rates? Might be hard to balance though. Or that growth rate depends on the number already in place (same balancing issue)

the key is not so much in the bunkers but in building less an upgrading more (as has been said by Quazar) for apocalypse even: build one ion cannon in the middle. upgrade it. build a bunker behind it. build a cannon to the right with on square empty. build a cannon to the left. upgrade one of those one level. upgrade build a bunker behind it. of the two already upgraded cannons: upgrade the cannon with the least damage another level. upgrade the other....... try the rest for yourself :)

Here is the guide to normal: build 2 ion cannons in the front row left and right of the middle square. upgrade one of them. build 4 bunkers: one behind each cannon and the other two left and right of those bunkers with one square empty between them. upgrade ion cannon 2. Research advanced economics. Upgrade both ion cannons another level. Research Nuclear Fission. Save money until it is done. Build a missile complex in the front row, middle square. Upgrade it two times. Build 3 economic centers in the bottom row. Build 2 more missile complexes in the front row. upgrade them 1x only. Build another 4 economic centers in the bottom row. upgrade the missile centers another level. now upgrade all of the economic centers. From here you have by far outgunned and out-incomed (;)) the NME. Do whatever you like....
