might be worth to consider if you want to make specials' counters count from the last or even last strongest rather than from the first attack. i.e: poison counter starts at first attack. if a unit makes it past me before the counter stops i can not re-poison it....and also it means i need to keep all special guys at same level. adding a new one can ruin everything
@undefined: bugreport: the advandce dexter (paladin?) shows wrong values in level up menu.
hope this contributes to the development of ur great game (5/5)! we need version 1.5 asap :)
suggestion (big change i guess): get rid of squares and make free placement (units need certain space for themselves of course) and make circular range instead of squared
With all the big fuss about the game (even all chatrooms renamed!). I would expect the developpers actually care and get the lag and the bugs out ASAP!
Looks really rather half-done. The lag is excessive. Get some bughunters going.
The game also needs player statistics tracking for multiplayer. Wins/Losses and especially a penalty of some kind for quitting.
this is the laggiest game ever. lag gets worse as you play. it lags out the whole browser. find out where in your code you managed to overload the system so badly.
other than that: entertaining.... :)
great artwork too. after playing it thru the 2nd time I came up with this idea:
Make 5 levels like now, then next 5 levels you need to scramble for ammo against a timer (no spiders invading) and AFTER the timer is up, spiders drop on you, but at this time you can only shoot and not regain ammo.... next 5 levels normal again, etc....

Some nice ideas, well done technically, but boring gameplay due to lack of balance. "Strategy": Levelling: raise AOW and Patriotism at first only, then raise intelligence to allow more of both, when AOW and Patriotism are at 100 continue to raise Int to 200.
Campaign: do 5 missions against rogues for cash. Buy the expensive troops (5 in reserve), attack 1st city. Sell weak troops and buy the better troops that get available (stick with own race mostly). Put 20 archers and 20 crossbowmen in reserve, hit nme with arty and forget about using your hero.... rinse and repeat. both elite guards and black samurai are good enough to conquor the world w/o a single loss...
I like your style and the game concept. But I agree with the last comment: it has too much focus on pixel hunting. Without the walkthrough I wouldn't have enjoyed it.
