Thank you for your last response Soulgame. Well, I've achieved all there is to achieve on this game and loved every minute of it. Good luck to everyone else in becoming the most wanted or getting all the loot.
Very impressed to be honest with the attention of the developer to the players.
Enthusiastically awaiting the sequel.
Heh, lots of people making that point. Society is becoming more consciencious at last. I guess this is why the guards are portrayed as evil in the intro.
This developer is trying really hard to please everybody and unfortunately that means that the sequel will be grind based on not skill based (upgrades!).
Oftentimes better isn't most popular.
The extra double jumps meaning that you don't have to carry out the resource
management that you had to carry out until yesterday are another sign of this. Plenty of us got 100% without them but this developer is too affected by whiners.
Hey, don't worry too much about Rogue Soul 2, I've tons of ideas about the progression scheme, and it's not about grinding. I'm pretty sure I will, eventually, succeed to make a game both for casual and hardcore gamers :)
I'm glad you've fixed the unintentional double jumps but you shouldn't have listened to the players demanding more double jumps. You were right in the first place: improve your skill and resource management.
This game is very high quality. Kongregate has recognised that and given it the badges it deserves. The graphics are really polished and fun, background and forground. The controls work just fine for me. There is tons of innovation, a fantastic range of enemies with different ways to defeat them all, innovative upgrade system based on skins but demanding you improve your skill to actually win the game. Very challenging achievements with tons of effort gone into a seperate in game challenge system. Funny reference to Assassins Creed. Wonderful originality such as giving a girl a flower to get a lil extra boost. Doubtlessly more than I haven't included... and all completely free with no premium content pushed. If you are still complaining, you really need to learn to appreciate other people's effort and skill.
@d0de
Well, it's also true that to get 100% you already have to spend days replaying after getting the initial 'win' of 5000 soulons, so I rate the replayability high.
I think it would get boring fast grinding impossible levels for no reward (but that's my opinion), and I only really manage to pass level 6+ by using all the parachutes and feathers I've collected from the easier levels to jump over everything.
I'm still hoping that there is a final goal and you can finish the game if you beat zone 10.
To get platinum on treasure hunt you should double jump up from the clothes lines to get two golden helmets that are hard to see.
In general you also need to be jumping on top of the building, dropping down to the ground and then jumping back up again to get lots of the best treasures.
And after you give the flower to the girl jump up to the first platform to get the treasures behind the tree. I think your target is 1800 soulons.
Well done. Top game. Difficult! Thank you for not including upgrades. I don't like the 'play until you win' genre. Visual upgrades would make it even better.. 5* anyway.
