Alright...one more game that causes my computer to restart for no reason...
message me instead of downvoting please, I'm sincerely looking for help, not trying to bash.
Checkpoints shouldn't look like tarpits. I avoided the first half-dozen because I had no idea they were checkpoints. Maybe let them be shown as more than a black puddle. Place a flag in the middle of the tar, and I wouldn't have thought it was undesirable.
Also let me raise my hand for that progress bar suggestion.
I don't understand why my mage's normal attack hits for over 50, but when I spend mana for Boulder, it only hits for 2 or 3 more damage. What's the point?
Also, when mousing on the right side of the screen in a store, you can't see your companion's facts to figure out if you should sell something or not.
Also, the music stops at the end of the song's track and doesn't pick up again, leaving us in silence. I don't like multiple comments, so I'll avoid clicking post (yes my second comment) until I finish with the game. Either the hitbox or the sphere is too large, because there's often a fraction of a second difference between almost made it and jumped too far (feels like 1 or 2 tenths of a second, but I could be wrong...human error).
I have no idea why I'm still playing.
This is seriously becoming a sort of training of reaction response and muscle memory. But I cannot go on, bf wants company to bed. 2 stars for now, because seems to require too many deaths until one can find the correct path, fave'd.
Before I begin, perhaps go beyond a description that provide just the genres of the game. Make an effort.
Hmm, after loading the page 3 times, I was unable to get any game started.
Kirby's math isn't wrong, just the way he presented it. He totaled the FINAL upgrades' costs (12x$30,000), not the cost of upgrading EVERYTHING to their final versions, but his point that upgrading everything costs more than that huge ring is still correct.
-but maybe he (YOU Kirby YOU) missed the point of how 'upgrades' actually help you earn MORE money. especially the one that gives you more $$ for the distance. that pretty much makes up for itself in the next kick-
Hell yes, spend 30 minutes playing to get the BotD. Reload Kong, new BotD.
That minute long worry that I had somehow missed getting my extra points, that was something I could have done without.
A small fraction of you need to read this. See those posts that have +600 upvotes, that didn't even ask for them, and were posted mere DAYS after the game was on the site?
Your "+ if you liked blahblahblah," posted weeks after, are not as great, or deserving.
@tipinii
You cannot score while the enemy has your flag. Kill their flag-bearer, then return home before they steal it again. It's frustrating, yes, but it's also a hard badge.
@JSilvis, Dude, this is a public site, not a private community, that allows votes on comments. Stop whining when people vote you down. Some people enjoy Story over Gameplay. Sorry you're slow (at reading).
Probably not your fault, but while I've played this game, my comp has, with no warning, shut off and rebooted. The first time, I was able to continue playing in a room adjacent to the one I was in when the cpu rebooted, the second time, I had to start over, and the 'headphones for better experience' screen showed up (it didn't the other times).
Damn, while typing this I was thinking that I was going to try to play it again, but I just realized that I don't want to put more of my time into something that might make me have to start from the beginning again and again...
If it's a problem with my setup, then it's my loss. It was an awesome game (with some lag issues that might have been my comp's fault), but wasted time shouldn't be something that you plan for....
