Man, that first boss kicked my ASS the first couple tries. The round got easier when I realized you can have multiple "Gobuffs" at a time. You can have up to three before it starts subtracting a percentage from your gold earnings. The extra buffs, combine with the striker pengu and the fire sigil was a great way to keep the boss frozen and to throw any flying creatures down on his head when they froze. Once he was stuck, I picked at his health with the sigil as well as the basic fireballs. Still pretty intense!
FINALLY! The hard achievement is mine!
For those curious, I was Level 38 with everything upgraded at that point. I used the Gauss Rifle sparingly in the first couple areas, but once I passed the first bridge I settled into using it in a rhythmic pattern. I used the wheel spikes only for the occasional speed boost, but also used it when the Gauss Rifle ran out of ammo to get past the metal box barricades. Also this achievement is partly reliant on luck. GOD SPEED, GAMERS!
I thought rogues/assassins were suppose to AVOID head on assults? I don't see the point of giving all these dumb AI's different classes when in battle they all melt into one big, dumb mosh pit.
The 'Prizes' tab is pretty useless when all you do is go into it, find that one trophy you got midgame and click the 'claim' button. Clicking a single button doesn't require strategy like the 'Team Info' and 'Upgrades' tab so having it there is just a waste of time. Why not just give me the reward at the end of the round that I earned it in?
My biggest issue with this game is it's hit box. That thing is not NEARLY as accurate as the game expects it to be. And that's really really frustrating when you're trying to carefully navigate through the maze of moving bullets that these bosses throw at you. I had an especially difficult time coping with the sheets of bullets that the last two bosses shot at me. It would have been easily done if the hit box was more accurate.
Hmm, both of these boots are similar...Same armor rating, same buffs...WAIT! This one's more expensive. You get those. No party of mine is going to dig through dungeons in peasant wear!
SPOILERS:
Here's a bit of help for you guys without giving away all the secrets. Just some difficult parts that I struggled with.
Put the lightbulb in the dead deer in the forest outside the mansion grounds.
Use the acid on the coffin lock.
Got it! Hard Badge Obtained!
For those wondering, I took NanakoM's advice and stuck with the three ninja and one cat arrangement. I got the 30k score around Wave 17 and had a +90 modifier to my stats.
Best of luck to ye!
Any chance that this will be made for Google Play as well? Personally I think it'd be a great time sink when I have time to kill. There is a steady enough progression to make it seem like I'm getting somewhere, but now that the achievements are done, I have no need to continue playing the PC version.
I thought people were just under satisfied with the game, but this game is MUCH shorter then the others, even the minis! You can complete the game with seven clicks EXACTLY and it's done in five minutes.
I've always been a fan of the Reincarnation series. Each one has been a fun adventure through creative art direction, fun puzzles, and interesting ways to kill the reincarnate.
But this one...Geez, I feel really bad about this one...Like others have said, it didn't take long to complete so it doesn't seem all that worth making in the first place. It was unusually short and I'm disappointed it's like that.
So the milk was absolutely useless.
I noticed how it was an important resource to gather so your troops don't die...For the first round. After that, keeping the meter up was never a problem, nor should it ever be. It doesn't seem to add much to the game.
I'm much too busy trying to cope with lag spikes and misread jumps to really care about milk.
Awesome story! Glad you had fun. 2 more bosses await!
