They changed it so rather than getting everything at start, you have to unlock it as you progress. You get the stuff you normally started with by going to battle mountain. It makes more sense as you get the equips as you progress rather than just starting out with them.

There are quite a few out there, for example Slash'em is a Net Hack mod (while it's seperate but gets its source code from Nethack), and it has tile sets. I only suggest it since this isn't working D:
A few tips:
The ships on the left side of the upgrade tree cost more gold, and are for cargo shipping.
The ships on the right side cost more War Points are for fighting
If you are having trouble with the boss, to beat him all you need to do is: Use Dynamite
Attack Hull
Crew: Affects how effective it is to use "Board Ship" attack
Flag: Abilty Points
Hull: Health
Another tip is that if you kill all the people on a ship, it becomes useless regardless of it's health or AP left over

Sure thats true, but do you really think that 260 int is enough to judge? Magic is strong, you just have to play it as a secondary skill. Before you decide to judge any stat, at least unlock secondary magic skills and have at least a couple thousand int.

Right-click the game, click settings, and a screen will pop up. Click on the folder icon, then drag the bar to unlimited. I'm not sure this will work on Mac, but there is probably something similar to do on mac.
This games is amazing. It is developed really well and has really good art, animation, and you must have put a lot of work into it ^.^ 5/5! The epic battle fantasy is definitely my favorite game series ever :D
Awesome game!!!! I have a few suggestions though: I think you should balance magic, because as it is it can not really stand alone. Another thing is we should be able to rename our pets, which would be pretty cool. However, don't think these small things made me dislike this game. I give this game 5/5 rating and I'm sure it'll keep getting better.
