1/5 until you add a quit/main menu button, and I'll bump if its fixed. Why do morons make games without this? How can anyone playtest for more than 30 seconds and not notice this?
While the game is mediocre, the badge choice is retarded. Going through the game fully from the first level has nothing to do with skill at the game, but luck with spawns and dealing with the bullcrap boss combos. And all that luck is built into the last level... Which really really sucks.
How could anyone tell the difference between a "skilled" match and a level 2 that knows what switch and intercept mean? We can all access the same cards, it's just a switch/intercept/diceroll crapshoot. A level 1 could beat a level 1000 any day of the week. Which would be fine if the base gameplay wasn't EXACTLY THE SAME every single match.
The lame thing about this game is that it eliminates luck as a card-drawing factor, but then it’s total luck with a hit/miss factor (unlike many other card games). So it is crap from a strategic point of view because there isn’t even a secondary controlling for luck. The only strategy is switch/intercept and range. Which… after you’ve been there and done that, the game has exhausted itself.
It needs one more layer. Like it range and switching are the two strategic dances, and that's basically it. With only choosing the guys + 1 item, there is little incentive to keep at it. It's well done, but needs another layer to keep our attention.
"Dang! Mothership can move by holding down the move button and “dragging” it to the field…(gotta drag it twice)"
Holy crap... this makes a huge difference. Seriously, on survival this is awesome. Thanks for the info!
2/5, I agree with many. It's not a puzzle, as there is nothing to puzzle through. The first level can be reasoned out, but every other level is pure clickfest. It's not like a clever player can figure out the puzzle, it's just non-sensical "guess the right clicking order without clues". I like the production level of the game, but the gameplay is poo.
