Grind 4 minigames ranging from acceptable to annoying, then watch your duck do three races. Repeat. It's like if you took Monster Rancher and switched all the good parts to bad.
Not too hard, I finished it on my 3rd delve(Would have been the second but I was too cheap to buy one more potion). Magic doesn't really have a point- casting time means you can't hit first with magic, so anything you can kill in 2 swings isn't going to be any easier or do any less damage if you throw magic at it. I'm kinda sad I didn't unlock some sort of super-item for getting all the achievements. I might have gone back through if I got some sort of +400 everything hat, just for the novelty of it.
All in all, a nice little mindless dungeon delver. Not too long or too frustrating and it stays interesting to the end.
Maybe it's just the console gamer in me, but this is the 3rd game in a row I've played and wished there was some way to play it with buttons rather than a mouse... Have to plug a USB mouse into my laptop and it's just tougher to get the ship to go to the right place.
Ragnarok is evil... The fact that you can obtain a mysterious item with no hints as to what it does that kills you right out... That's just cruel! I expected it to boardwipe the enemies...
Most annoying loading screen ever. Also, either I'm too dumb to find a button or it just won't pass the loading screen. : ( Either way, bad design flaw.
Interesting and a bit amusing. I encountered a couple glitches, though.
-Can continue to explore after the 'time to leave' box pops up
-Can get over 100% stress. (I did it by studying poetry, of all things. Is the stress supposed to go up ridiculously fast with Lv. 3 poetry class?
-Not sure if this is a bug, but unlike other school you can do poetry lessons at any stress level.
