Stephen you should start a blog or something and upload your games and other flash like that there. If you upload it here people will just complain, they are not really giving applause to first time Dev's. If you are planning on starting a blog that shows your Flash Development progress you can host your games for free on something like fileden.com . There are better hosting sites though.
It most likely needs a certain amount of ratings before it actually shows the stats. If the rating of a game is under 3 the only way you can find the game on kongregate is through the dev's profile or a url link. You wouldn't want your game hidden after 2 votes.
