Warning: Don't leave a specimen alive for too long. If you do, you will get attatched to it. It will become harder to beat the shit out of it to decrease its mood. Or was that just me?
I think I found a way to get the hard badge even easier. If you win the game in a lower difficulty via constitution, you can send 5 of your citizens (no matter HOW strong they are) and start a new game. You can get 5 citizens, all level 10 in every stat, if possible, and try to take on seriously-hard. Still not that easy, but better than going in with almost nothing.
Hoy, just out of curiosity, is anyone else able to bypass all the quests and just jump straight to obtaining the ultra-weapon (and all subsequent rewards for all the quests)? I did beat all the quests, but that was with another deck that I deleted.
These guys are terrible guards. They notice me, sound the alarm, and run right past me. I don't use invisibility or move, and yet they somehow still don't find me.
oh, did you guys know you can get an achievement for killing the firebolt on your first encounter? I know, it was supposed to be a fight you were supposed to lose, but if you totally stacked yourself against the final boss, and clicked New Game Plus, It should be relatively easy, especially if you boosted your laser to a really high level.
By the way, if anyone is having trouble fighting the monoliths, here's a tip. Use the charge weapon. It should dish out around 1000 damage on a normal hit. If you can't because you don't have it yet, use the spread. Don't have to move around as much with this.
Awesome game! Graphics were top notch, and the characters all had a very deep personality. If I could suggest a few things though, could you:1) Add an auto-fire button and 2) Make the obstacles a bit different from the background. That's really about it. Amazing job! Looking forward to a sequel!
