Pro-tip for those struggling, you can use the numbers 1-5 to summon enemies onto the map, so you can press and hold 1 to summon a few hundred slimes and slow the game down, giving you way more time to make those tough jumps.
The construction workers are repeatedly told to be either dumb or just angry at you(since they were basically slaves). It could be that they messed up on everything, maybe intentionally. But we can't know that for sure since they got slurped by slimes
Love the game, just wish it was in a bigger window so the whole puzzle could be seen. Maybe this isn't reasonable for later, bigger puzzles, but having to scroll around for even training puzzles is disappointing
Hit box hell! Especially on level 15. Took me SOOOOO many tries to put the final earth arrow in just the right place that I could squeeze through the door and out onto the arrow to make the jump.
PART 3 (10) exit shop through porthole. (11) use screwdriver n machine (right side of screen), solve puzzle (arrow around power button should point down-right, big circle should be spun so part that starts on top ends up on the left, top dial points left and down, bottom dial points up and right; pushing power button should now light both green lights). (12) use long cable on outlet (near crane), grab zet that falls out of the guy's pocket, enter shop through door. (13) put zet in tip jar, use screwdriver on left panel under the desk, grab ball. (14) STEAL THE ENGINE, YOU'RE DONE, WAHAHAHAHAHAHA
PART 2. (1) grab fish, dip it in the green goop, drop it in the bucket. (2) grab button on top of the blue box (under wanted poster), grab battery from flying robot, grab dial near the spring (lower right corner). (3) climb in shop through porthole. (4) try to take engine. (5) grab red cable, repeatedly click the machine on the desk, grab blue cable, combine red and blue in inventory to get long cable. (6) grab part that falls on the floor near engine, grab dial on shelf (above the calendar). (7) combine batteries in inventory, give two batteries to the guy in the cage. (8) unlock cabinet (numbering buttons left to right, top to bottom as 0 through 9, code 9771610). (9) grab key, use key on cage, use new key on engine.
WALKTHROUGH: 1) open toolbox, take rag, take gear. (2) use rag on lever. (3) open electrical panel, inset cog. (4) push red button, collect green bottle. (5) give green bottle to Tink the robot. (6) take knife from wall, use it to carve the cork in your inventory, and plug the leak with the small cork. (7) solve nav puter puzzle (left dial changes signal height, right changes signal width, use levers on left to set red, green, and blue). CUTSCENE
WHY IS HER HIT BOX SO BIG?!?!? *returns to title screen* Oh, right.
Pro-tip: you can use respawn points to save yourself some backtracking, like when a coin door is right beside the torch.
I seem to be stuck in the Corvus+Maori path to the center. I water-walked across the lake, froze the dog, burned the cat, used the herbs to climb and descend the cliff...... and now what? There's no rumble-pile-clearing herbs anywhere. Was I supposed to do something up the cliff? There's no more cliff-climbing herbs either. Seems no path forward, and no way to sleep/restart the puzzle. What do I do??
If game is slowing down, restart your browser. Game has a memory leak that causes the lag. Still, great game. I'm going to have to go back and play Landor again now :)
Great game! But my stupid brain kept thinking "rotate = r key", with very bad consequences. Nothing for the dev to do about it, just sharing for anyone else experiencing similar frustrations :)
5/5... but level 14 1/5... but the rest 5/5... but level 14.... ARGH, I just don't know!!! Level 14 solution, eat the bat next to you as you jump up, so you fly just a little higher than the bat on the far right. You then need a precise stomp to bounce on that far bat just before he kills you. From there, stomp on the up-right bat, eat the skull, then eat the remaining bat, and finally eat the knight
Managed to pull out hard badge with necromancer. Skills: summon skelly, focus; attributes: intelligence. Gets your horde size way up quick. Add an energy charm (which you should enchant) to recharge energy if your horde gets decimated, and you're golden.
Game is like a minute long and comes in three phases: top lasers, top lasers with sunny background, top and side lasers. If you're struggling, ignore the side lasers. I didn't have to jump in my one successful run. Just wait it out; eventually you'll get occasional runs that don't require jumping.
Another title for this game could be "what fresh hell is this!?" because I found myself saying that basically every time the circle expanded :D. Great concept and execution, well done!
