Very very painful grind. I suggest not even bothering with this badge unless you are ridiculously bored.
The badges on this game are a joke. They are simple to get in one try. You dont even have to beat the game. Level 29 took me about half a second because I had a shield so all I had to do was run into both ships and they automatically died. I also dont like a game where I purposely kill myself at the end out of sheer boredom and easiness rather than dying or beating the game. Not a very good game or challenge.
This impossible badge is very frustrating even after you easily dominate everything on insane. Anyone know a good speedrun and difficulty for grinding out the bird milestone? 150 is obscene.
GREAT GAME! It was glorious. Easy yet hard. I beat all levels 100%. My only concern is the scoring. If you get a higher score but lower orb percentage it puts the higher score. I was a bit frustrated when i beat one of my 100% scores with a 90% and had to try 50 times to get a fast enough 100% to replace it. Badges would be amazing too but with the problem I just showed an impossible badge for all 100%s wouldnt really work.
I found a cheap strategy for those of you who are struggling. Once i figured this out it was way easier. If you run out of gates you can turn one off briefly and then turn on another. Both balls will still fire and its a good way to beat a level that would be easy with one extra gate.
Another bug for the Quarterback guy.\ We attacked at the same speed and both killed each other. Then I got 10 health back due to the qb special ability, but after having 10 health left i still died.
Lol I just had the luckiest game ever. I was down 1vs2 = basically screwed. Lucky I had the item that sometimes gives you 10 life drain. Well, it landed twice in a row so both his guys died when it looked like they still had 10 life left. Ok probably not a very interesting story but the point is this might be why some of you complain that you are dying when you still have hitpoints. Basically my point is with the life drain item you need to add the visual for the enemy losing 10 health.
I think a big concern is speeding the games up. My suggestion is to shorten the time alloted for making an attack and greatly shorten the time for choosing whether to move close or far. You could then add one or two 15 second extensions if the player wants to really think it over. Part of the game should be relying on instincts and being able to think on your toes.
Beat Challenge 4... I had the sword follow the sheild and had to control the sheild really well; still a very tough challenge. -
PS Vigilante's comment a couple pages ago about challnge 4 only being intended for Korean starcraft grandmasters is fantastic.
