one more thing, try holding ctrl and clicking the download link for the source files. This opens it in a new tab (in google chrome, atleast) and the download works perfectly.
ok, I managed to finish this tutorial properly, but lots of people are having trouble so I thought I'd try to help.
1. To get the explosion animation, open up the finished example in the source files. Then, look in its library and copy the explosion animation from there. Then, go to the one you're working on and paste it into the library. if it gets put into the stage, delete the copy in the stage.
2. If the missile your enemies are shooting aren't moving, then look no further. I had the same problem as you, and felt really stupid when I figured it out, especially cuz I already had this problem before. I accidentally saved the actionscript file as Missle.as and not Missile.as
I missed the 'i' in missile, and this is a common error made by people. Check to make sure that all of the names that define your enemy's missile are the exact same.

First of all, this game actually isn't that bad, it just needs a little bit of work on the graphics.
Secondly, a message to all of you who are posting comments criticizing this game: why don't YOU try making one.
Awesome game! BTW, if you want a big combo, then barricade yourself in the middle with barrels. Then, wait until there are lots of zombie around, then place an airstrike and watch what happens.
