I wish there was a full skip for these games. I'm sure some people are interested in the plot, but honestly I'm just here for the badge and I'm outta here.
Me: Idk why people are saying survival is so hard, I haven't even lost health this far, and it's my first try!
Rogue Soul 2: HARDCORE!
Me: How hard can it be? Oop- Dead.
First badge didn't work, now this easy one didn't work, now they "fixed" it, and now neither the easy nor the medium badge works. I'm sure the people at Kongregate are trying their best to fix this, and I'm sure they know how to do their job way better than I do, but can you at least test something before you launch it, or like immediately when you launch it? It has been like 8 hours.
Finally finished the game after literally 6 hours of pure grind. When you get to the final boss it's not even interesting because you've cleared like 500 levels, so you're so strong you two-hit the last boss... Let me change my rating from 2/5 to 1/5 because after getting the final badge I didn't get any sort of relief, I just feel dirty and like I could've spent those 8 hours better literally staring at a wall.
This game should've had a single island. It's an endless grind that consists of multiple hours of clicking your strongest attack over and over again going from enemy to enemy. The enemies are not diverse, meaning you won't actually get any use of abilities like silence and various buffs with the exception of a few bosses and tournaments, but these are far away from the majority. I have no idea how this got badged. 2/5
At last I got the impossible badge after 6 days. Here are my top tips: 1) You want to win every level on as few turns as possible. Level 1 should be done on one turn, and level 2 should be do in two. If not, reset. 2) If you lose health during the first 7 levels, reset. 3) For upgrades, aim for 5-7 cantrips, and 3-6 shields. I got the badge with 5 cantrips and 6 shields. 4) DO NOT make mistakes. It's easier said than done, but you really need to calculate every single move. 5) Remember that this isn't a contest of speed. After level 7 your goal should be to take as little damage as possible, not killing everyone as fast as possible. 6) In The Gauntlet the way to go is to clean out all goblins first, then later kill the blight matrons afterwars. The best place to kill the blight matrons is against walls so they don't spawn as many mobs. All of this may also be highly situational, so you might want to make a move that sways away from tip 5, 6, and 7 if the situation calls for it.
Hard badge:
day 1: height 2, width 1, band 1. Stay up in the air for as long as possible, and if you don't get around $5,000 just reset.
day 2: 3 radar, 2 e-rocket, 8 height, 4 width, 4 band, fuel tank 6, left rocket 3, right rocket 3. Use any remaining money in the same proportions. Again try to stay in the air for as long as possible. It should be easy because of the radar and e-rockets. You should get $10,000 to proceed, but you might get way more (I got 80k on first try)
day 3: 4 fuel sucker, raise width and band to the same level as height, if you can, raise e-rocket to 3 or 4, and use the rest on fuel tank, right rocket and left rocket. Just try to get as high as possible with e-rockets and platforms, shouldn't be too hard.
Holy shit this game is bad. The gap between levels are way to steep, and the hard badge is purely luck-based as the thing that swings for speed is way to fast. Also you'll spend hours on end because the game fully resets when you lose.
Would never recommend this game, not even if the hard bagde is the only badge on the website you haven't unlocked.
Easy badge - Doesn't work properly. I got it at random after finishing all campaigns and a handful of multiplayer games
Medium badge 1 - Should say "Complete the campaign on all difficulties" as finishing it on any difficulty will not grant you the badge
Medium badge 2 - Works, but multiplayer is dead
Hard - Works properly
Also the developer claimed to fix the easy badge when they "get the time to make a fix", 2 years ago.
Yes, when your whole party is mind-controlled you lose and when whole party is in fear that start retreat.
