tip for later levels: make an intricate maze with un-upgraded towers which finishes with a single choke point. at the choke point, place a few max upgraded towers.
to those who think it needs fast forward and save features, you're just spoiled from td5. this is a classic, and a it shouldn't be changed. You don't even need any of those features!!!
i may have figured out the piercing system. for every 3 piercing points, you get +1 crit. damage(%); for every 22 piercing points, you get +1 additional damage(%); for every 11 piercing points, you get +1 critical chance(%).
this is probably incomplete, but i might be able to confirm later.
concerning Veradux, to increase his lightning attack's damage and his melee attack's damage, up his strength. Lightning piercing is only for his critical chance with his lightning attacks. if you want his healing to be very strong, up his instinct.
people don't know what magic really is. they don't think its real, and they think it's wonderful. the reality: it's real, it's dark. A real magician invites a demon (or more) into his or her life, a literal deal with the devil. those demons do things for you, for example, you tell them to lift a box, they lift it for you. you tell them to torment someone, they'll do it. nothing pleasant, no blue sparks of awesome, just plain occult. if that Grinns world is 'bursting with magic', you can count me out of it.
