The game was fun until the black things show up. The last board is borderline unwinnable -- I've tried on every difficulty, and easy definitely isn't easy. After 6 boards of them showing up, I don't really want to play anymore anyway.
Limiting the number of randomizations at the start seems pointless. I just had to reload the page because I ended up unsatisfied with my band look; if I have to reload it again, I'll just not play the game.
Neat idea, mediocre implementation. You shouldn't have to level grind in order to get enough infamy points progress; maybe you need different difficulty levels? I'm a fairly hardcore TD player, and I found this more challenging than fun.
As a player, I never really feel in control of the game. The free play really needs work; you basically can't finish any of the levels until you have all of the powerups, then you do all of them in one shot. (Except the last one, which feels extremely chance-based.) Not your best work, Nerdook.
Also, the game would be better if the controls actually worked correctly. Half the time, pressing (for example) down + right using keypad controls just makes you stop.
Any game where you have to farm a single level dozens of times to get to get enough points to advance to the next is terribly, terribly designed. 1/5; if I could rate you lower, I would.
The first 8 or 9 levels are pretty fun. It's really too bad the next few levels completely ruin the user experience. The scrolling certainly doesn't help.
Acid seems kind of bugged, since you can disintegrate the entire castle around people and watch them fall five stories and land on the ground without dying. :/
