Game needs a tutorial, I couldn't figure out what I was doing for the first five minutes.
Also, Once you're maxed out, you can literally go forever -- you can hit enough ninjas to refill your power bar before the guy starts falling again.
84,941,525 distance and 138,700,528 height on my last trial before I decided to quit; resulted in about 4.5 billion mad points.
And incidentally, there's a bug in the code that lets you get over 200 power, even though it doesn't display it.
The best part is when the guys start showing up in Chapter 2 that destroy your towers, but don't give you enough money to buy more. Awesome game design. I'm only sorry I can't give this game a negative score.
Check me on this, but it's completely impossible to get all the in-game achievements? You can't kill 1000 guys before day 4, since you don't even see that many.
I admit, I laughed when I saw the first jetpack guy -- it might've been okay as a boss gimmick, but not as a normal guy. I played through the platforming section on level 2 until the boss, then gave up.
The first game was great, but this one? Not so much. Too much annoyance, not enough enjoyment.
Yeah, the energy system is pretty terrible. It's a fairly fun game, but having the game basically tell me I'm not allowed to play anymore is really offputting. There's got to be a better way to implement that -- maybe something like WoW's rest xp system?
@Draconis: I also hate having to juggle, but at least it gives you a brief tutorial on how to do it.
I am a little disappointed that there's no mega-mega-mega tower, though.
Similar problem to what red_beard_neo's having -- I can't leave the starting area, because the first "boss" guy I'm supposed to kill N of the first town won't reappear after I killed him and didn't save. Bad bug.
Seriously, Madagascar is an example of horrible game design. I started here this game; at day 56, I've infected the entire island, and have yet to have any interaction with the outside world to spread the disease. It's just me and an island of infected Madagacarians. That's pretty awful.
