This. This is fantastic. Compared to the first one, this is absolutely amazing. And even with nothing to compare, it is still amazing. The replay value is simply amazing, the battle style is intriguing (But can be improved), the Graphics have improved by leaps and bounds, and the RPG (Read : Making choices) feeling has been improved to a point where I'm in awe at how many things I can choose to do that affect the outcome. The differences in style from mage to mage is incredible. For this, I have nothing to give but a 5/5, a favorite, and a wish for a sequel.
When I first started, I looked at some of the specials and went like "4 SECONDS? What can I do with 4 seconds?!" ... Oh boy, if only I knew how many things can happen in 4 seconds in this game.
Dragon Wizard, if you do a little research, your items USED to drop on the floor. That was taken out because people could just get back all their work in a few seconds if they're with friends - Which is clearly not the point of a game in which your death is permanent.
Qazzaq made another comment and got a +5. Oh, the community. Also, we could make this go on forever. Dunno why people like our comments. Btw, I got a +2, not a -2.
*SPOILEER* The easiest way to get the great mage is to become a black mage, cleanse the poison inside of you once the choice is given, and once you go get more antidotes lose to the Chaos Fire guy. You'll become wanted and Neutral. Chill out and when the game is about to end, head there as one of the Neutral Guys, and kill everyone. (There's also a White Mage option, but it's more dependable on other stuff.)
@ Dpiatt240 - No one said that they want all the game having same rewards as mission 1. No one said anything about energy needed to COMPLETE MISSIONS, But yes about the MAX energy. At the end you'll have like, 2 shots at a mission and bam, no Energy.
Pets and keyboard would be pretty good additions. I don't agree with the auto-attack thing. Could be easily exploited and such.
On whatever case, It is pretty nice.
Perfectly mastered music, a great game, great storyline, good dialogues and it's just so old-style it's fashion and awesome. 5/5.
And as a side note.. BANANANANANANANANANANANANAY!
Not great, but it's okay for your first game. Honestly, I totally saw this as a "Just Chat" game. 3/5, for being your first game, and at the same time for being so-so.
Quite easy if you know what to do..
Start with skeleton - Instantly buy the Halberd Unit (It costs 500), and then save up and slowly make your way, always increasing Halberd capacity (And something else if you feel like it or if you have the spare money.). After that, stay far away from demons, and get the lands with the lowest % of difficulty as you go.
"Inventing the wheel might just end in a plague of zombies..
Don’t worry though; you’re not completely alone on your cosmic journey! Every time you successfully create a new item or procedure, you’ll also be rewarded with the wit and wisdom of some of the greatest philosophers and comedians!"
Gee, that's really comforting, man!
