The down key is very buggy. It's difficult to enter doors and use items without being very precise. Why can't the pyramid be placed while standing ON TOP OF the pidestal?! Thirdly, there are many annoying "invisble" walls stopping you from jumping around and exploring. It's a shame that such a lovely illustrated game should be coded so sloppily.
WARNING: Do NOT take the BURGER in the kitchen on level 1! It will make you sick when combined with the MILK + CEREAL, and you can't get rid of it later. + this to keep alive!
Nope, this didn't cut it for me. The controls are just too confusing. I don't like games that are built on bad character control... It's a shame, because the game is very well made apart from that.
Neat game, everything made sense except lvl 35 and lvl 36. Level 35 should either open on nine or have an additional hint like "1-2-10" or something like that. I mean, if 10, why not 11, 12 etc? Level 36 made no sense at all.
Way too messy graphics. Most of the time I have no idea who I am, who are my team mates and who the enemy is. And what part of the map is solid and what is decorative background? I'm tired of having my rockets blow up in my face because a stupid wall/floor/detail turned out to be solid. And can you please reload my empty fu**ing gun when I find new ammo? Do I really need to tell you??
Very well made for a single developer! Some points to look at though:
1. The shops are useless. Who buys that dirt cheap junk?
2. Finished the game on Normal, as warrior. Didn't die a single time, had to use two health potions in the whole game. Could be more challenging?
3. Where are my stats?? How much damage can I deal? How much health do I have?
Anyway, kudos to the developer for coding a great game single handed!
A really nice tribute to Monkey Island, I really like style and the humor! Sadly, it's lacking somewhat in the story line and the puzzles - often you do things in the wrong order, and not until later you understand what problem you were solving. Also, the going in and out of frames to complete tasks and advance further is a bit annoying. Sometimes the text response when combining things are simply misleading, because you have to combine in the correct order. Still, a great effort! Thanks!
Why don't you just change the control scheme in the options ? :)
