Game comments and reviews

Alright, it was okay until I hit 98% map 95% items and saw in the comments that there's ANOTHER random hidden wall in the map. I'm not going to wander around a map that's already uncovered with no indicator of where I have and haven't checked.

The game doesn't work, I just get a blank grey screen after the ad.

There were honestly a few levels where I knew what to do but died numerous times just trying to make jumps and falls, and those aren't fun. But there were a lot of levels that I flipped through and looped over and over until I finally saw what to do, and those were great. In the end it was all still achievable, which is the best kind of puzzle game. 5/5

I'm glad you like it, and that you were able to complete it! I'll be trying to make sure the puzzles are more balanced in the next one.

I'll be real, this was much better than most of the esthetix games. Solid story, decent puzzles, overall a good game.
Wow, that was awesome. A totally different kind of puzzle platformer. It's extremely impressive that this was made in 72 hours.

Really wasn't expecting those additional mechanics thrown in. My favorite part about it is the fact that it's not the type of puzzle where you can possibly do things in the wrong order, and end up having to restart to figure out the right order. 5/5.

I almost didn't even try this game cause I thought it would actually be just tic tac toe.

My only problem is the limited number of moves you can make before dying. Staying in place doesn't take up any energy, but enemies aren't always moving towards you, which means after I've stomped through the stuff around me I'm left with no options but to suicide. Being able to scroll the screen would help, instead of choosing a random direction and hoping to find something.

The field of view does feel a bit too close. Particularly at the end, being forced to constantly move around means you never really know what you're moving into.

The hero AI is just too frequently incompetent. We should at least be able to toggle abilities on and off between battles, because I don't need my mage casting three different buffs on the one unit that hasn't even reached the combat yet. Setting priorities for targets of buff spells and abilities would be ideal, but at least being able to toggle them to keep the AI from misusing them would work too.
Superb puzzles, perfect combination of variety and depth.
The logic puzzle with the flags and drinks was neat. The symmetry "puzzle" was way too easy though.

I kind of wish I could check to see if I had made a mistake still. Like an option where it asks if you want it to tell how many errors you have, but if you do have any it would reset the puzzle (does that make sense?). So I'd know if I'm stuck in a puzzle and just haven't seen the way yet or if I've actually made a mistake somewhere that messes up other clues elsewhere in the puzzle.

Definitely needs some work with the controls, way too much extra work trying to maneuver while keeping the mouse in the screen.

Is there anything special to do with the fire gem? The fact that its value is 0 and we can't sell it to any vendors leads me to think it's for something.

It was neat to see that upgrading your bullet power modifies your gun to fire in the same ways that the various enemies do. Kinda like scaling with them (or not, if you rack up too many kills without blocking bullets). Really making use of unity to incorporate some neat graphical effects too. I prefer a little more structure than the high score format, but this is still very well made.
Thank you so much!

I don't think I really understood the difference between the two endings, but it was still a pretty fun game. Lots of different mechanics, for a puzzle game that really had me trying everything by the end of it.

The case was straight forward, but there were several points that I just had to guess through to progress.
Hope you had fun!

That one definitely wasn't as cut and dry, I had to actually puzzle out some of the clues and their significance. Very well done, 5/5.
Thank you, glad you liked the new difficulty level!

Piecing together the clues to blame the right suspect was a short and logical flow, very well done. But it might have been neat to expand on it and have us investigate the motive instead of just giving it to us at the end.
