seems like an awfully advanced game But its fun, just....i dont see the point early on in even trying to fight....cant line up with an enemy to do damage, just buy lots of troops and let them do it for you
I went and played the original, its better, still not great, but better than this....i also lowered my rating, if you are going to rip off someone elses idea you need to make a game that is much better than the original.
Im not sure what to say about this one...it interested me enough that i played it twice....but after the first couple of levels it became very tedious....needs an extra something to make it interesting
Yadda save button, yadda incremental exp to spend, yadda how the heck do you convince your guys to walk around behind the enemy to attack? the enemy is really good at it, but my guys seem to be backstab impaired.....
Finally beat the fun mode 10k with 22280 points and 6 lives left....yipee, there should be a badge for that, its hard as crud. If your having trouble with it, try a 3 exit maze with a center full of swarms and boosts.....a couple or three bash towers at the entrance with boost towers to power them, and you need 4-6 full snap towers to freeze the flyers on 98 and 99 long enough to kill them.....good luck!!!
after hundreds of playthrus i have the following comments.....good game but it needs: keyboard shortcuts, less screen shake, bigger slingshot grab circle or an auto grab whenever the mouse is near the launcher,, pause, more visible target line, 150% exp gain for faster tech levels, a reason to upgrade the shots(ie much greater damage) less emphasis on shot stability.
And of course all these upgrades should also be applied to the downloaded version, which still has the red target line, bad stability, etc....
DIFFICULT to control, made my wrist hurt, mouse cursor moving beyond the pane makes it almost impossible to throw people....needs a larger playing area and less slop in the movement.....otherwise entertaining
man, what cant you say about boxhead, great mindless action game! Only thing i would ask for is a more fluid 360 degree spin, the arrow keys dont cut it. Maybe mouse aiming or a straffing option.
I wanted to rate this game higher, but the slick interface and playability was undercut by the simplistic plots and limited interaction with the action....maybe if you were supporting troops on the ground instead of just figuring out which order to kill the targets in
