needs work. it seems that the code changes direction randomly. ie left to right or right to left. i may have missed part of it in the tutorial. i can go further in detail if you require to make sure i'm not just being dumb.

Hello psychobobby, the code does not changes during a level: it is randomly generated at the beginning of the level and it needs to be discovered with the hints the game gives to you. :)
