Ok, had to rethink my 5/5 rating. It's still a good game and the beginning is quite engaging, but after 11 hours of playing, I'm really getting bored. I find myself dreading that 1.5 seconds that it takes for the chest to drop.-_- The combat animation is getting seriously old to look at. Crafting turned out to be meh.. I still have it set to 4/5 but I think I'll leave for a while before I get the urge to make it 3/5...
A tip for Day 3 3Star on Hard... Start with 3 Flame Throwers all the way in front, space evenly. Place Nail Guns directly behind and 3 spaces back. Fill that row with Nailers as you can. Next make a row of Nailers 1 space back from your Flame Thrower line. Finish by filling in the middle row. Use Support on Last Wave only. Easy 3 Stars on Hard.;)
Nice... it's a great game, love the story, love the set-up... I think it's pretty well complete. I do see the attraction of upgrades and structures, but they really don't fit the storyline. These guys are only here for 5 days and they have no intention of staying. Maybe in Desert Moon II we could colonize.=) The suggestion of day to day continuity of resources and weapons would add something to the game but I think the balancing issues might be a lot to over come. I think if it were that way it would have taken me a few tries to even make it to Day 5 on easy the first time. BTW, the lvl4 Support Only Badge maybe should be Impossible instead of Hard. lol. 5/5
