For BotD: get tank, drive into oncoming traffic and wait for the cars to pile up, then jump from car to car as soon as there are enough for a 6 jump combo.

I noticed the same thing, but then I realized that it's because the ship I have selected doesn't have enough AP to attack, but my other ships do. You have to click the ship with at least 15 AP in order to return fire.
The bug is just that the game doesn't auto-advance you to a ship that has enough AP to attack, but you can get around it.
Bug report: any unit can be placed on any tile by selecting the unit, right clicking while choosing where to place the unit, and then left clicking on the tile where you want the unit afterward.
Units can be placed on tree tiles as well as on the wrong zone (i.e. warriors on grass tiles and rangers/towers/wizards on the path) in this way.
Guys, there is friction. If there wasn't, then even the squares would slide forever when they were tapped sideways by the slightest force.
The balls just don't stop rolling. It's okay, because you can still solve all of the levels anyway.
Tip: If you let more than one enemy attack you, you can attack much faster than normal by double-clicking between the monsters to attack them one at a time. You can actually kill 2 monsters faster than you can normally kill 1 monster of the same strength using this trick.
This game is quite glitchy for me. Anytime I touch a wall, my chip-thing teleports offscreen and I can no long move or beat the level. I was able to get through the first 8 levels anyway, but the ninth level is completely impossible since you're scraping wall the whole way.

It takes some doing to get the heavy blocks to be on either side rather than centered :P
On zerging stage 6:
It works best if you wait until you see the first wave of orcs appear before you start spamming hobbits. That way, they come into range of your arrows right when your hobbits get to them, and the hobbits get to the castle before the next wave arrives.
