There's 2 big issues with this game: The save feature, and the excessive memory consumption... Resulting in massive lag later in the game... I run a great machine, with great internet connection and now the game is so slow it almost makes me want to stop.
Managed to finish the game on my second try, way too short :( I liked the gameplay, it's pretty generic but it has a nice feeling. For your sequel I would suggest a darker look to background, maybe some scary shadows and stuff. Nice touch with the tentacles monsters, everyone hates tentacles (except some japaneses... ahem). A little bit of freedom when leveling up would fit perfectly in you game, for example for a reference I would say Paladog (I'm just talking about the level up part) for example: You level up to 3, so you can choose if you want to jump higher, run faster or have higher damage. Good luck on your sequel! :)
Little suggestion: On "get new totens" levels, make a requirement to first exterminate the opponent then steal the totem. Otherwise you can just make a very little city and spam heros to the totem waypoint, like a 2 minutes match.
Finally got the hard badge... It's was a matter of honor now... Last time I tried this game was back in Feb. 18, 2010 according to the date I got the medium badge, lol.
I love Punk-o-Matic, but I have to say, this annoying playing ball ruined this game as the main focus is playing career and playing songs. Please continue your focus on the music making for PoM3, just like PoM1! We trust in you EvilDog, and keep up the awesome work!
Argh, I hate this game. For some reason the gameplay seem weak to me, also it's very repetitive and have some awful menus. For example? Wouldn't it be much better if you just could type "R" for restart a level? But yeah, finally got my physics pack badge.
I just killed the first dragon, got like 2k gold, then had one armor event followed by another monster. I upgraded my armor and BAM another dragon, without any divine edge it's impossible. What's the fun of this? :(
