Not a bad game. I'll admit I was a little put off by the title (and content) at first, but the gameplay & idea aren't offensive. Good effort, I support the concept; with some polishing, it might be a decent game.
What a great little game. I really enjoyed getting the artifacts, and the special abilities they bestowed. Inventive levels & fast-paced gameplay made it a real pleasure to play.
Love the laser concept (and the backgrounds), but the monsters need a serious redesign. They look like a bat-faced "Furby" with fleas. I like that they have different idle moves: scratching, rolling their eyes. I just don't like the way they look. Cartoony, "kawaii" cuteness would make me more inclined to drop them into lava pits.
Love it. Totally addicted for the moment and having fun working through all the levels. Great game! My only complaint is that the text 'Your Turn' above the character makes it harder to see what damage you're taking. Put the red box below the character or somewhere else. Still 5/5+tip.
I hung on just to get the medium badge, and enjoyed what I played. The movement feels so sluggish except when you're jumping, but otherwise I like all the little details on the levels. The tiny windows showing a cubist world were cool, and the black slime boss was worth the trip. Too tedious to play for long, but nevertheless an entertaining game. Reminds me of 'N'.
Game fails to login using facebook & twitter on a Windows XP machine running Firefox 3.0.15. I have no interest in signing up to an external website to post my score. Thanks anyway.
The previous Ring Pass Not was the first game I really became addicted to on Kongregate, and one that I still play even now, years later. This second version lacks the simple charm of the first, despite a huge difference in graphics and aesthetics. And now you want me to pay to Download the "Premium Version"? No thank you.
Loving the game, and the strategy.. this is my new favorite pasttime. The only problem I've had is having to restart several levels when riflemen (greenjackets) set up a position and continually fire at nothing, forcing me to start all over from the beginning. There should be a time-out built in to keep this from happening. It's extra annoying on 17/20 when it gets stuck in an infinite loop with no way to get them to advance.
Good game. Interesting concept. Would love to see this developed into a much larger game on an entirely different platform. GTA-style homeless wandering, with missions. I could play it for hours.
Loving it. This is my new daily game.. totally addicted. I really enjoy the variety of treasure drops, it's probably my favorite part. Getting some weird random artifact or bit of equipment is my primary motivation. I only wish it weren't so expensive to stay alive. Even IF magic was hotkeyed, I'd still probably skip using any offensive spells to save all my mp for healing (which btw is too expensive to cast!). Other than that, great game.
Good casual game to play every now and then. The only thing I hate is that the stones look like they're colored with crayons. It's a shame when everything else is so richly illustrated.
Well done. Some indication of the level number each round on the playing field would be nice, or a menu to replay favorite levels. Music was so-so. Good fun, though way too short.
Hard to beat a good platform side scroller. Crisp graphics, good gameplay. Any game where you sport a shotgun is bound to be good. Combine that with chickens ftw.
