I tried this game again, and this time I did better, but now I run into the problem of wearing my finger out clicking just to spend the money I steal from the invaders. Oh, and there is a hidden 'transaction limit' on the market that will suddenly pop up and forbid you from spending the rest of your money that turn, even if you need to spend it to survive to the next turn.
The best strategy is to sit as close to one of the lower left or right corners as you can, then slowly move to the other side as blocks come down at you. The blocks come in clusters and take breaks; try to be in a corner when a break happens, otherwise you can get trapped.
Actually, it's not just falling bullets that don't hurt the enemy hand. It seems that bullets randomly either hurt it or not. Even the ones you fire straight at it sometimes don't hurt it. I'm always impressed by the amount of testing that goes into this game.
Wow, this is hilarious. Since the last time I tried this game, it has been updated so that falling bullets still harm you, but they won't harm the enemy gunner!
Too many resources! Being attacked on four fronts while managing gold, food, iron, wood, four armies, with distinct weapons and soldiers for each, while upgrading 12 different types of buildings, is way beyond the amount of management that is fun. Great graphics. 3/5 stars.
This game is terribly abused in these comments. It's not bad at all! The controls are nice. The puzzles are clever and very tricky, especially toward the end.
Insane mode is the only one worth playing. It had the badge and the other modes are so easy that there is no satisfaction from winning. I beat insane just now with 150 continues and it feels great. 5/5 stars.
Wow. I made the mistake of starting the tutorial. It's not in English and the text scrolls out so slow that it's terribly tedious for someone who can't read it. And you have to press 'enter' every once in a while, so you can't just leave it running while you do something else, you have to be there, waiting. 1/5 stars for wasting my time.
It's a well-made game. It has a menu. It doesn't have glitches. It's simple, but that's to be expected of a first effort. Let's hope the next game doesn't try to get too complex too fast so that the quality falls.
It could use something more, a twist to make it more challenging and more interesting. I have no idea what that could be, though. Excellently implemented, not interesting enough. 3/5 stars.
