I used to like these games, but the combat is so tedious. Either make a faster animation, or stop animating it at all. Also, is it only possible to use my bow on enemies who are diagonal from me, or was I just having bad luck with the guy directly in front of me?
@timsir: I couldn't see the entire screen either, which I guessed might be because of the zoom that I have Firefox set at. My vision is bad, some games give you small writing. I changed the zoom to normal and reloaded the page and the screen is centered perfectly now.
Then I experimented and found that you can zoom after the page is loaded just fine. Hope it works for you!
I've got to admit I'm impressed. I didn't think there was any way a medieval fighting game could be just like the umpteen work-in-a-fast-food-joint games you make. I was wrong.
I like the game well enough, but it takes too long to earn your way from one level to the next. I've played the first two levels many times but am only halfway to unlocking the third.
As much as I prefer having plenty of time to react over having things come at me really fast, this game is a bit too slow and could use a 'fast forward' button for some bits.
On the third mission, I was down to my last battered laser, most of my weapons and all of my miners were disconnected and I didn't have enough minerals to buy an energy relay. The game stopped and I wondered how long I'd lost by, and it turned out that I'd hit the 10 minute mark. About two more seconds and I'd have been toast.
