Yeah, these types of games are only really fun when you have a good amount of control over your movement and your aim. If I wanted to play randomness I'd dig out Yahtzee.
The OMGWTFBBQ is kinda useless. It doesn't seem to do any more damage than dropping the huts or the stone faces on people, and the hit detection is choppy enough that that's unreliable at best.
The zombie room is way too long. It'd be one thing if they were actually remotely difficult and it was a genuine challenge through attrition...but all you do is stand still and spam the pipe. For like 15 minutes. That's not fun or challenging, that's tedium.
Too random. No, that doesn't make it hard (I'm about 4 missions from the badge). It just makes it painfully long while you sit in a secluded corner waiting for guards and the target to randomly wander into the right place. I'm sorry, but the waiting game is a poor game.
This is ridiculously clumsy. If you have multiple attacks that work on, say, forward + attack, it'll randomly choose between them, which is a TERRIBLE idea. The enemies have attack animations faster than your own and generally the same/longer reach, so if they decide to just spam their attack there's approximately jack you can do about it -- even if you block them, you'll potentially never get an attack off before they hit you. Blind luck.
Regarding the aforementioned pass glitch when encountering two hostile encounters in rapid succession -- if the second one is attempting to attack a town, you go right past it and start getting negative (and continually decreasing) time to reach the town. You have to refresh the game to leave that glitch.
Speaking of the packeage-delivery sequences, someone's played too much Phantasy Star 3. Getting attacked 10+ times in a 24-hour trip is a bit much, doncha think?
If you crank the speed up to 20x, sometimes you get attacked so often during the package-delivery sequences that half of them never transition to battle -- once in a while, you don't get the "go" button either and have to refresh the page and restart in town.
