making this game progressive, such as rampaging different cities and/or having bosses who summon things or like rocks to avoid in the ground, i dunno

on alligator level your best bet is to recycle one of your chloroplasts, and run around the level nonstop looking for glucose. keep your lysosomes and slicers maxed out, and youll be fine :D also make sure you have at least one of the peroxisomes :D hope this helps
