Ctrl-Click to delete (command-click in OSX) is also faster than deselecting the current color and then clicking. Plus you keep your currently selected color.
Oh good stuck in the same loop with the Ransom Gal. CAN'T FINISH THE FIRST LEVEL WITHOUT ENCOUNTERING A GAME-ENDING BUG?? Even ACTUAL old NES games weren't *this* buggy.
Restarted after the controls stopped working before. Stuck in a loop with the Ransomling kid (endlessly punching his headless body). WOW this game is buggy.
Controls stopped working entirely when I got the A+S notification (full rage). The keyboard is STILL WORKING (can pause, go to menu, etc), but can't move or attack. Just sit and watch him get beat to death...
@LOLMARTsecurity, I know, haha. I meant, there is a message that pops up if you try to go back to the ship saying you can't go back until you have those three items, *even if you already have them*. It _should_ say you shouldn't go back until you take care of the gravity generator, but it doesn't. OR it should let you go back and fix the engine and everything BEFORE you make the aliens mad. Because it doesn't make sense, haha. They have flying fighters, but please, take all day to go back to your ship and make your necessary repairs, haha.
I really want to like this game. I love music, and I love puzzles. This should be right up my alley!
Unfortunately, lack of color-blind support, plus glitchy performance, plus the fact that it doesn't admit to being just a demo anywhere, (and I suppose also lack of achievements), all combine into an experience that is less than the sum of its parts. Alas.
Often NOT colorblind friendly. I appreciate the highlighting, but 4+ colors, you've chosen ones without a lot of contrast. At times I can't tell the difference between the current color and a backgrounded color, which makes the game pretty much impossible on some levels.
