Lovely -- upgrades help the computer, not you. when you return to the game, the bombs fall twice as fast and have a larger blast radius! Now I know the machine is out to get me!
Yea! After about a hundred tries, finally made it to 2000. I have serious doubts about 5000 without a string of luck equal to winning the lottery 5 times in a row! heh.
I finally figured out what's with the computer's ships -- they start with TL50, unlimited resources and energy, instant build, and infinite armor. Having to micromanage my drones hurts too since the computer doesn't leave me many clock cycles for input.
Nice! The CP's single standard drone took out 10 without getting a single shot in return fire. So much for setting up a defense. RTS in Flash is such a pain, both to play and program.
Not bad. Could be better -- having enemies that explode and hurt you (a lot) no matter where they are on the map just takes the fun out of trying a second time.
Could be a lot of fun -- the other was. This one, the enemy just sends a single tank that can't be hit and mows down all my troops before they even get onto the screen. Bummer.
Lots of fun! I don't get how 3:40 is possible -- there are several levels that I've not yet found a way through in less than 30 seconds to a minute..... But, I've gotten it down from over 12 minutes to around 8, so I presume it's just a matter of patience, practice, and a bit of luck. Amazing how the very simple can still be very fun.
The only thing worse than a "one pixel - one clock cycle" control is a game that had to be made even more frustrating to "keep it fun" for the cheaters. The physics seems to presume 10x gravity when it chooses and turns off the controls at random (but critical) times. The puzzles that have been left as head-scratchers rather than head-bangers do keep it fun at times. I guess Flash doesn't really allow for much, and this does a lot with it.
I'll have to take your word for it that all the levels are possible. Random speed vehicles and only being allowed to have two vehicles stopped at a light for more than 0.01sec makes this a "one clock-cycle" game and my mouse just isn't that fast. On the plus side, I see the problem with the lights here where I live -- the guys playing that game have even older equipment than do I. heh.
as near as I can tell, "Hard" is hard so the cheaters have a little challenge. Playing fair, it's rather hopeless, but it makes playing on "normal" more fun after a few tries.
Even better than the first and more outstanding music. Not that getting caught up in the music is good for the score, but it does wonders for the blood pressure.
Sorry, but if you can't even do any damage in practice mode (I take damage when I land a hit, and my opponent heals when they land a hit), and I have to stop to run a special, but my opponent can do several things at once ---- the frustration level takes all the fun (it is funny, in concept) out of it.
