I find it very funny when people say "This game sucks because it's not like the real thing" or something similar to that because this game is a parody to the real thing. If you don't get why you are fighting Tom Fulp with a weird beard, maybe you should've read the opening message about how he wasn't shaving his beard until Castle Crashers was released on the Xbox 360.
Ok, I found some bs. I'm low on health and I finally hit a checkpoint, but as I do, I get hit with a bomb. After I continue from the checkpoint, health bar goes up, but the worm dies.
I will admit, this is a very original Tower Defense game. It's quite simple to the the point where 1st timers can easily play, yet complex enough where skilled veterans can level up to what they find to be necessary or what they favor and still destroy anything in their path (no pun intended). But, just like everyone says, needs hot keys. Overall, awesome game - no wonder why it's the highest rated game on Kong. 5/5.
Also, there needs to be a warning when invincibility is about to wear off, because i can't tell you how many times I've gotten hit by an obstacle from invincibility wearing off at the worst of times.
Although some of the newer blocks are sweet (arrow blocks), others are just frustrating (reverse gravity blocks). I remember when the original Perfect Balance was relaxing and not to difficult, now it's strayed away from "relaxing" all together. I do like how you can now slowly rotate shapes, that was always a big issue in the previous games. I do miss the ability to spawn an object in almost any spot and have it just push anything else around it, although i guess that makes it more realistic with physics.
Fun (and funny) game. I think the biggest issue would be the gun power-up because even though it kill the animals with one shot, it's hard to aim without getting killed yourself. Other than the gun part, this game is a simple, yet fun, avoidance game. 4/5
