SilverSpeedy, groups of 2-3 bandits are very easily handled. You just have to keep kiting them around with a gun or use your cart as a chokepoint (4v1 means nothing if only two can attack me for 3 pts of damage each.). My annoyance is the fact that the store doesn't sell enough water containers to make it to the next town... Hence grinding by killing bandits...
For Royal knights, Donovan and Sharla are really under leveled for this mission. Considering that the enemies are about 5 levels higher than them in the start. Good thing I've pretty much focused all my levels in the last two chapters into Mardek, so he can carry the squad! The mages are so squishy... The three lizard encounters generally end with Sharla or Donovan dying immediately...
Well, Spoilers, but Deugan stayed behind to fight off a mech/zombie/dragon so that the rest of the party could board escape pods to escape Moric's batttleship before it crashed. Emela ended up deciding to leave the royal guard to go adventuring somewhere after Deugan's death...
I wish that upgrading didn't cost so much gold....im going broke upgrading stuff and even with level 9 gold smelter, I'm getting like 1400 gold a harvest....
in reply to ginta, I woul suggest that the pikes would be halfway between light and heavy infantry but would have a low rate of attack, like 1 attack per second. (you are stabbing someone with a 10-20 foot pointy stick you attack slower than swinging a sword, no?)
well. This is a brilliantly made game I must say. one main problem I have with it is that the missiles, once fired, will not go for other enemy ships if the target is destroyed. a sa result, that cost me several dozen neoalloy to repair my fleet because it ired its last rounds of missiles at a destroyed ship.
I feel that there should be more race bonuses and you should also buff dwarves. For instance, on the light side, elves could have a bonus in ranged units but would have a slight lowering of melee damage. then, dwarves could have very tanky but less damage for their foot.
the combat is really wierd. I order my forces to attack a tower and they attack the wall in front. I tell them to focus attack and they act all dumb by attacking everything around but the target.... The combat needs to be fixed up.
there seems to be a great deal of bugs in this game. some of them are: notfications linking you to the kong page, friends don't work, roads are glitched, and no option to finish upgrades on mill. aside from that, its pretty good.
