Anyways, great game. I agree that it gets very daunting without an elimination system. The hint system is a good help with that but still, very daunting. 5/5
It is easier to follow directions, and often the voice knows better than you. The more you obey it becomes clear that he had only your well-being in mind. But the world given by the voice, though clear and well-defined, lacks color. That "something more" feeling. Ultimately, disobeying makes the world fuzzy and hard to navigate, but you are surrounded by swirling colors.
I'm going to be frank here, when a flash game requires you to mess around with your resolution/time/sucker your friends or beg strangers to help/do anything else outside the game itself, it has just passed out of the realm of playability to the realm of youre being an annoyingly creative smartass. I applaud thinking outside the box, and i get what i have to do for each puzzle, but i am not going to rearrange the 600 icons on my desktop so i can complete one flash game
short and a bit easy. I dispute the claim that it is a reflex based game, as i never felt rushed or frantic. It was pretty good overall, and i like the art style, but i wouldve liked more levels like the last one. a solid 3
1945 was really easy for me. Keep your distance from the balloons and take them out then flank from behind the blimp, keeping your distance. Your guns have better range on the blimp (from behind at least, i never got it front of it)
in any level where you have gas, just get them to chase you in a straight line, dropping gas the whole way. Be sure to turn before you get to the edge!
its a great game, although it gets hard in the final levels when its 6+ planes vs your 2. I managed to survive, though, and im working on 5 stars. I find issue with the 360 degree turn ability: it seems useless. It would be much better to give the shield ability. overall i give it a 3.5: not bad but could easily be made better by tweeking a few of the features. since .5 ratings arnt allowed, ill rate a 4
I think the key to the morale issue most are facing is toe keep fresh units. Weakened unit run away, fresh one dont. So if one fresh unit charges a formation of 3 extremely weakened units, although it appears to be 3:1 in favor of the defenders, it is actually more like 5:4 in favor of the attacker
