this is one of the most inovative games i've played in a long time, the ability to effectivley manipulate time seems to be a big upcoming thing with many major game developers 5/5 easily.
can't give this game any more than a 2 out of 5. while the music is oddly appropriate for the graphic style :) and the concept and execution are simple enough to provide "hours" (maybe, maybe not) of fun, the controls are way to questionable. sometimes your character while go into a sprint, sometimes he'll start a leisurely walk, and let's face it, by the time i got to level 15 i needed pinpoint accuracy to even try to finish the level! thats not conting collecting any or all of the coins. and just as a side note, i'd like to know if anyone can kill those little golden birds that take off after approx 5 seconds of play time in some levels. I wonder if its physically possible to get to em before they take off on a few levels
this game has serious balance issues, i'm using only my hero to wade through the monsters and destroy the enemy castle, the only thing i use my monsters for is killing the enemy hero, then its cleanup time with my big guy.
this game seems worthless, while i hate to use that term for a game, in this case i can make exceptions, seeing as perfectly good bridges (by an engineering standpoint) collapse under workers at random times.
i'm giving this game a 3/5 only because the intro and ending movies were incredible. The puzzles up to the crate where you got the scanner were actually intelligent puzzles that you had to think about to bypass. After that it's sheer random chance that you stumble upon the answer. using the statue to make a crowbar is uterly ridiculous, especially when the statue's description says you can knock someone out with it, you might as well use the bloody fish to open the crate. The symbols on the grid at the end of the game alone made this a 1/5 the only way to get through that was to either spend a large amount of time on every combination possible, or use the walkthrough. If your game requires a walkthrough to beat then it is too unbalanced for general play.
love the game, i love it i love it i love it i love it i love it i love it, put a story in! I wanna wander around and do dungeon crawls etc. Oh by the way are'nt you violating some copyright protection laws by using this music? gimme a shout i'm curious 8D
this game gets a 2 out of 5 when you cannot attack diagonally and some units (ranged units) seem to be able to attack at random times and for no apparant reason lose line of sight on most enemies. I.E. they're useless
ummm do the repair drones actually repair? i got 4 of em with 2 upgrades on repair power and speed and the ships health went up just as fast as if i had 1 that is to say, not at all.
level 42 bugged for me, no aliens appeared so I got a free pass on that one, then level 43 froze my tank and made it impervious to alien shots, then game crashed. Not a bad game, needs some debugging work though 3/5
9 guns and only 3 or 4 have any use at all, seems like a failure on game balance, and boy did this get repetitive! still, all told better than the games that the naysayers have published, mainly none

played it on gentle survival mode, 1 minute of building time? yah right, more like 30 sec. and then i got hit by 30 fighters, how the hell is that gentle?!!?
Do I really need to complain about how spotty the controls are since everyone else already has? Well it makes me feel better since the comp just handed my @^% to me over and over again as the only special move i could pull off with regularity was down down up and even then, it rarely worked, that said, the game is damn pretty, awesome music =), and if they made the friggin controls work it'd be a 5 no prob, so its more like a 3 now.
quite an impressive game, wish the gravity was a bit more navigable. I was impressed with the changing emotions thing, i thought that was cool! maybe add in pick up items next time? upgrade your blob, shoot negatives emotions around the place, something like that? just a thought
