Okay, my biggest problem is that after a while this game has nothing to do with skills anymore. It is purely luck based where the street signs show up so you can either take down the helicopter quickly or bump into a dozen cars and die. That's what makes this game incredibly frustrating after a while. Kind of sad, I really liked it in the beginning.
Played through the first few chapters, and so for the game is awesome! There is just this one weird bug. From time to time older lines of dialogue keep replacing the "real dialogue" for a split second. They are in yellow and when they are Ink's thoughts they have the word "internal" in front of them. Makes it a bit difficult to follow the story. Or maybe this is some artsy twist to the game that i am not getting?!
Hey there! Scrolling back to previous dialogue (with the yellow tint) happens when you scroll up with the scroll wheel or hit left on the arrow keys. It's possible you did one of those things unintentionally; if it happens again, you can press the down arrow key to jump back to where you were instantly.
sorry, but I strongly disagree. the game has p2w content for sure. but it gives you a chance to come far without grinding or using your credit card. In that category i have seen far worse games. the german translation is also okay, compared to other translations i've read. Which is a regional+ for me. I gave it 4/5 for the horribly annoying lag. If you want to bash games for p2w, this is one of them, sure, but you certainly have better choices.
on the other hand: once you've forced your way through to the easy badge, the medium one is a piece of cake. You can torture the costumers by serving them crap until (about 2 in-game days later) a guy named Jojo shows up. Just ignore the other costumers, serve him what he wants as quickly as possible, finish the day... et voila: medium badge. But don't get me wrong, I totally understand anyone to whom even this is too much effort.
What's the point of this game? You just sit there and wait and after a few upgrades you become powerful enough to just force your way through. Is it patience that's supposed to make it special?!
Hint: You can win any level except for Gluttony2 by placing one gas block on the left facing the demon portal + otherwise only cursed blocks. but still a fun game! 5/5
I just spent several hours to earn myself 1 medium badge, 2 hard badges and 1 impossible badge, labelled as 1 easy and three medium badges. And now I never have to see this horrible, horrible game again. YES!!!!! Before I leave this nightmare for good one last addition to the hints others have given here already: If you are heading for the chain champ badge... 1. always try to stay in the middle of the screen to have the best view on planes and projectiles coming in and more important 2. Miners are not your friends. Because even when you hit them and one pixel of your tank comes somewhere near the ground, your combo in interrupted. Good luck everyone! I'm SO glad, I can leave this game behind now...
no, this is NOT "a gobbling good time". Anything but that. Even for a 2007 game. Which is rather sad, cause it had potential. in my opinion the worst "feature" are the huge hitboxes of the obstacles. And ALL of them stop you immediatly. how about just slowing you down? how about upgrades? how about... what ever, its all been mentioned a million times, and the "developers" wont read it anyway. just had to get rid of my aggression...
great game! i love clicking three times in three different places after each death! The missing upgrade feature is a true revolution to this genre as well. but to make it even more frus... i mean, fun, id suggest you put all of the healing items at the beginning of each level, let the zombies insta kill you upon contact instead of just taking 80% of your health and make the player click separately for each shot. Some P2W content wouldn't hurt either...
Thanks! Yes, "Heavenearth". And the Skyground tokens are a reference to that, too.
