Rate this up if it helps you: First focus on getting your life and speed up to the point where it'll cost 3 per upgrade. Then get your sight up to the point it costs 4. Then heavily invest invest in the land upgrade, past 11 per upgrade. Secret tip!!!: Once the kongregate "K" is built for religion, start keeping your population maxed out all the time. Only upgrade from whatever souls you don't need to have your population at the cap. This is because the K gives 1 soul per 100 levels your people gain, and i believe spawning they level faster at low levels. You'll get tons of souls
Huge improvement, thanks but please don't stop working on this game. For starters it's for too easy to become immortal. Life rings need another nerf and here's a great idea: Remove the health gift for clearing a room. It's not needed at all and is just too good, also for completing quests. Gold and sword = plenty. Reduce rate that hearts appear in dungeon by like 33% as well. You can keep the health bonus on arenas but maybe lower it by like 40%.
Suggestions: Every 10 red crystals should also boost 1 base attack, or added a rarer black crystal that boosts your attack.
Make the spell scroll that makes you get the first hit last for 2 hits instead of 1, or even 3, otherwise it's always more efficient to use it to heal.
Create a stat/chance for the player to attack first, it can come from a yellow crystal or just from playing a lot.
Make it so skills can level to 5 instead of 4, but make the fifth purchase 5x more expensive. Heck make the skills lvl to 10 but make each purchase exponentially harder to reach.
More classes and items please.
The player should have a chance of attacking first, maybe it could be another stat like sword and heart. The fact that the monster always gets the first hit unless you use a spell is a little ridiculous.
