Incredibly polished. Beautiful visually, interface is very clean, puzzles are puzzling but not overly hard. Built in hinting system via the fortune is also much appreciated. 5/5
Still loving this game. Couple of suggestions: can we get a sort on our cards for anything of a certain type? For example, fire/water stones showing up when you sort for fire. Secondly, it'd be nice if the newer tourneys had a guaranteed drop for winning the last round. It's disappointing to get all the way through round 4 and not get anything more than I had at the end of round 3. Doesn't have to be much, just something.
Hey Qwirx, thanks a lot for the suggestions, we have plans to implement your double element stone filters in a future update so you can count on that, we will think about the extra reward for phase 4 in certain tournaments as you mention, maybe we can figure something out, cheers!
A bestiary would be awesome. When I get a new card one of the first things I want to know is the name of its evolved forms, but you can't find those any way other than evolving during a match. Also, there could be a reward for getting a certain number of stars total or perhaps 1 or 2 extra gold for beating a level with 2 or 3 stars, respectively. Currently, there's no benefit to getting 2 stars verses 1 star at all. Overall, I've had a lot of fun with the game, though. Can't wait for the full version.
Hey Qwirx! A Journal with all the Monsters with the name, abilities and description is something that we want to add to the game but we're now focusing on add more content. About the stars system we're currently only rewarding the 3-star score with nice rewards for now, but we can change it in the future with extra gold as you suggest, it's not set in stone.
Could you include the option to, instead of moving the grid, move your field of view? (i.e. pressing 'w' would bring more lines into your view at the top of the screen rather than the bottom, and similarly for 'a', 's', and 'd')
As a not-very-good platformer, this game was rather fun. There was a bit more emphasis on the puzzle aspect, which allowed me to get around my platforming difficulties. The wall jump-grab was a trick to master, but not impossible. Short, but cute, and with very good atmospheric music.
When you level more than one time from a single fight, the game saves a number of times equal to the levels gained, resulting in possible flash/browser freezes. Perhaps change this so it will only save once in this scenario?
In the gardening game, there is a point in between two veggies where you can click to pluck both at once. Also, it would be nice if the planters were a bit more right so that the upgrades menu would be hard to accidentally click. Very fun overall, though.
A request to all map makers: please put your signs far enough apart that they all can be read. If you put three or more in a row close together, you cannot read the middle one.
Good start, but needs some expansion. More (and harder) levels would be a good way to go. For example, a level that requires multiple circuits with different amps to win and you have to properly match up 4 or more batteries, light bulbs, and resistors. Nice learning tool as is, but has the makings of also being a fun puzzle game.
Fun and interesting. Would be nice if, when trying to flag things on the right of the map, the flag menu appeared left of the cursor (it is currently hidden by the edge of the map). 4/5 though, rather fun.
That was fun. It's a bit more challenging than most puzzle games, but I'd say that's to it's credit; there are far too many easy ones out there. Nice to see some innovation.
So aliens take over earth by creating the perfect boy band member and making all the girls fall in love with him... this actually seems like a good plan...
Since the game seems to be a sort of tutorial for these facial care processes, you should include descriptions of what the various ingredients are, even if it's just a mouseover text bubble. All I learned is if I mix this pink goo i got from some flower with some colorful liquid, it apparently helps with zits?
After ten minutes, I'm in love with this game. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous and the controls are quite fluid. The introduction was also stunning. I said to a friend of mine "THAT'S how you start a game." xD
