OK on one of the fights in the third system (second if you don't count tutorial system) the third yellow mission. do NOT put the enemies right by the retreat button in radar view, please. minor annoyance. good game so far though
An fun little game. a little slow to start, but the WP you earn scales with the quality of your ships. higher rank ships yield more WP form the same fight. i like that part, however studying upgrades does not stack, where buying them does. IE you have to study upgrade 1 two then 3, but you can buy right up to three. it does not indicate this so you have to learn things. Easy to learn fun to play, a pain to grind but easier as higher tier fleets spawn. Best fleet + hull shots + dynamite = one dead duchtman.
Can someone explain why honest comments of people who have down-rated due to lag despite every attempt to get rid of it have failed constantly get down voted? Some of those could probably be used to help improve the game. (note that i myself don't really have any issues with the lag or anything, i just cannot figure out why any semblance of negativity is immediately downvoted as if it were someone trolling or flaming)
Barbequestur, if you're not going to paly for a while, you should probably increase you're food and water storage well above what you need so you can stockpile it, rather than protesting an established system that works quite well for 98% of the people who play this. Higher level department stores can often give you a major amount of food too, so later on even if you get low it isn't as much of an issue because it can be corrected quickly. I respect you're decision, however I will not lie; i think it is a bad decision.
for those of you who noticed the reloading glitch, don't get used to it. Con has already been made aware of it during his visit in the in game chat and is going to fix it.
At least make engineers as good in improvised combat as fighters, otherwise later on in high levels the ONLY purpose of the engineer...is to disarm traps. making a class for such a narrow scope is a bad idea, you might as well just tag the ability onto one of the OTHER classes. I noticed higher crafting bonus's with my engineer, but it may also just be the luck of the RNG too, i can't say for certain.
very well made game, but a bit time consuming. Not that its bad, i just didn't see a save function so i was afraid that if i closed the tab i'd lose my hours of work. You even set it up to where you can make a sequel should you so choose. I'd love to see a sequel of this.
Frodnonag, it did mention unions at one point did it not? all the large allies in a group that you see are unions. alliances between unions are basically non aggressive pacts. least from what i can tell.
@telapoopy Some units can pick andchoose targets, by[assing defnces. the ones that shoot redbeams(don't remember hte name) and electric dragoons (blue, have orb at the end of their gun barrel) can do this. Last couple of waves have a TON of the red ones, and htey hurt like heck. have an EMP wave ready for em.
that drawing..that rat pirate..it couldn't be..is..is that the same guy who made a bit of a animation thing to one of voltaires songs..the beast of pirates bay or whatever? cus i swear that is the exact same style...
A good game overall, difficulty curve of enemies might be a tad too steep in one or two levels, but not much, and i think the game's a little too short. 4.4/5
other than being almost totally based no luck (not FULLY part of it is based on the skill of using things and when you upgrade etc) and the lack of bonus from leveling up, a very good game. reading your replies to other comments, i look forward to the sequel/extension/improving upon this game.
seems like your limited by your STARTING mana. at level 5 and 6 i find the initial burst of enemies is too much for any ONE unit to take and i can't afford more than one. and it doesn't appear hat upgrading staff gives more starting mana but i could be wrong, cus after that last try i was able to get more units quicker again, even though i didn't actually change anything otehr than spending that ONE point i had leftover which i'd forgotten about in my staff, it wasn't enough to increase the regen speed to 4, buuuuut SOMETHING worked right.
Overall a pretty good game, a little bit more distance would be nice, height would be optional but also nice.4.7/5, good game, needs some fine tuning.
Also i forgot to mention this so i apologize for leaving a second comment, i like how you made the differences to the main attacks a bit more subtle than the special attacks, you have to actually LOOK and USE THEM to know what the diffrences are. For those of you too lazy: the sword: basic, fast attacking but short range. second weapon: loner attack range but slightly slower attack speed. Axe: about the same range as sword maybe a little bigger, but does MUCH more damage. Scythe: not uber strong, but it has reach, ESPECIALLY at the upper levels where the arc of the swing can let you hit a dozen or so enemies at once if you do it right.
And the secret weapon? Well it's a secret ;D. Not going to spoil that one, go get the parts and find out for yourself.
very good game, but i wish that when you were in attack range of LARGE enemies you dindn't HAVE to be moving constantly to attack .i can understand the lil ones, but the turtles? the generators? But that is personal preference
4.9/5...so basically 5/5
@exordium get a FEW defences online. build 2 fuision ores. upgrade tehm. build 1-2 mass production facilities, the ondesors or whatever. you may need to palea few turrets or build a dock to hold off the neemy whiel you do this. upgrad tsaid condensors. build a dock. build anotehr 1-2 fusion cores and 1-2 condensers. and you've got enough resources that you can't build big enough fast enough.
