I want to like this game, but the lack of instructions and overall game flow makes this game almost unplayable. What are all these different stars? How does the flag work? When am I done with a level? Do I have to go back to the main menu everytime to select a new level?
Answer these and you get 5 stars, until then it's 2/5
Great set of tutorials that you have going here, can't wait for the next one! On a side note, any idea as to why I can't move the character in my game all they way to the right? I'm almost to the far wall, and I die and restart the level. Thanks in advance!
Rabe, did you accidentally swap the "y of self" for "x of self" for the death coding? That would easily explain your issue since earlier I was talking about how to check to see "if y of self > scene height" to kill you for falling down. If you accidentally put in "x of self" instead, your error would be the result.
I am having a few issues after finishing with the tutorial...The first is that my character is constantly moving right without any button presses, and enemies are only spawning in the original corner. It appears that I made no changes. Thanks in advance!
What a truly excellent game. I have not played anything this unique for quite a while. If I might add a suggestion, make the tip pop-ups a bit more detailed, it took me some time to understand everything I was seeing on the main screen.
5/5 Can't wait for your next piece of work.
What an incredible game that truly challenged me making me feel like I have actually accomplished something from playing a game. Thank you for the time you spent making this game, can't wait for Not to Scale 2! 5/5
For Those who aren't aware, Cthulhu was in a 4-part series from South Park.
Supposedly, he was released from an evil dimension when BP drilled into the gulf coast, but thanks to Mint Berry Crunch, Cthulhu was taken care of.
Way too many people's knowledge of World War II and any general history is horrible.
There was no Russia in 1944; it was the Soviet Union.
@Rymdolov...a Molotov cocktail would do nothing to a tank, just possible the people.
@EliteFifty...You are aware that World War I was over by 1920 right?
@lolpas...The troops landing on Omaha Beach were exclusively American, all other nations landed on different beaches.
@Woodeather...The Cold War started by 1950 and ran through the 60's, but not the 80's
great game 5/5
The only thing I could suggest adding would be having the option to zoom in and out using the keyboard.
But I can live without it...as long as I have some lysosomes!
