Yay...another Papa Louie game.... Except more advertisements. For your papa louie games. In a papa louie game.
It's like repetition inside repetition inside repetition. Very meta. Very bleh.
A relentless, soul-crushing grind that masquerades - POORLY - as a game. Awful. Can't succeed without grinding for hours. Two medium badges should be either Hard or Impossible due to the migraine-inducing repetitiveness that is this tripe.
Game is awesome! I'd love to see a way to switch between different sets of commonly-used gear, though it may not be relevant beyond the first part of the game.
Don't bother with any weapons other than the starting dagger and bow - fully upgrade those. The others are all a waste.
Don't bother with ballista or catapult - the archers are better. Lag time between ballista/catapult shots makes for a VERY frustrating time killing fast mobs in later levels.
The first six upgrades (lockpicking, eagle eye, agility, engineering, thunder, stamina) are worthwhile. The others are questionable at best.
Don't bother with armor - engage all enemies from a distance, or circumvent them when you max agility.
Terrible, horrible game. Good concept, awful execution. Not sure who thought the levels should take what feels like an eternity, only to have a buggy "boss" sequence one-shot you.
Probably shouldn't have gotten badges.
I really like how there's no way to avoid the bullets - or am I missing something? If I can be hit "anywhere but my orb" then something's wrong...if I can only be hit on the orb, then the bullets shouldn't appear to impact on the side of Cerberus...just sayin.
