It's not that unique. I know it's a free game, and I'm not expecting everything to be polished to a high shine, but there is a lot of standard game mechanics that just aren't there. The atmosphere isn't important in a game like this, but the puzzles and smoothness are. That said, the graphics could be a tad brighter and not so black and white (don't be portal). The puzzles are fairly simple and add very little to difficulty. I had more problems accidently falling off stuff. It's an outstanding proof of concept, but this game doesn't have to be Portal: Fan Edition.
I have removed "unique" from description. This game was made by gamer for gamers. It is not polished because i have not so much resources on it. Thank you for your comment
It seems that as this series goes on, the narrative becomes more and more linear with only a few right choices leading to a winning scenario. Also, the branches seem to have less and less depth.
I don't know of one person who eats wings that cares if they are 'placed'. Where I get my wings, they're in a basket, right out of the toss bowl. I don't want someone else touching my wings.
Yes, it should say "you need local storage to be turn on for this site". Please turn it on and try again. Sorry for inconvenience but we really care to save you progress.
This game, unlike the previous ones, is unpolished. The controls are spongy, laggy, and unresponsive at times (maybe because the elephant bounces along). The graphics are not optimized. I have a very good computer, and even in low quality mode, the game lags, but only when particle effects are on screen (not a problem in other games). There are spots on the edge of the maps where one can leave the play area. Also, the hit detection is hit-or-miss. I've walked halfway through spikes and flown through fire without anything happening, and I've also barely missed spikes but still died. The gameplay is way improved and the game is a joy to play, but the problems detract greatly.
It's a well drawn and well made game, but it's slow, the dog doesn't have non-magic attacks, the soldiers take too long to get to the paladog. I want to like this game, but the mechanics are so tired and I feel like I'm trudging through the game.
I hate that the point of more time is not that it allows you to collect more coins, but that you need two minutes to have the boss cycle to where you can hit him 4 times.
What do the different explosives do? It seems like they reduce the throw of the ore, but I'm not sure. I also don't like that the ore (or other items) goes off-screen.
